Solange has signalled her return.

The eclectic songstress just unleashed a striking new photoshoot, which she teamed with BlackPlanet to debut.

Its arrival comes as the star gears up for the release of her new album, the follow-up to 2016’s ‘A Seat At The Table.’

The latter topped the charts upon its premiere and earned Solo a Grammy Award – two career firsts. Perhaps most notable, though, it ignited a pop cultural discourse about race, gender, and inequality.

A glimpse at the snaps suggests the 32-year-old will be making many more statements with this record.

Despite decades of sexual abuse accusations, singer R. Kelly can boast one hell of a devoted female fanbase.

Arrested last Friday (February 22) after being formally indicted on 10 counts of sexual abuse (including indecency with minors), Kelly entered not guilty pleas across the board.  Then, just days after word from his lawyer, Stephen Greenberg, dominated press that he was unable to pay for his own bail due to his ‘finances being in a mess’ (click here to read more on that), the Grammy-winner was released from the custody of the Cook County Jail thanks to a mystery donor.

Now, the Chicago woman who paid his bail has been revealed. Details inside:

Good things come to those who wait it seems.

For, after a serial delay, February 22nd brought with it the long-awaited arrival of Offset‘s debut solo album, ‘Father of 4’ (click here to stream).  Lined with high profile features from the likes of Cardi B, Travis Scott, 21 Savage, J. Cole, Quavo, and more, the set zoomed to #2 on iTunes sales charts just hours after its unveiling (blocked from the top by Lady Gaga‘s ‘A Star is Born’ soundtrack).

Yet, its saving grace – much like the solo efforts of his Migos brothers Quavo and Takeoff – has come from the streaming realm.  So much so, industry analysts predict the project will outpace the competition (including Gaga and her post-Academy Award acclaim) for next week’s top spot on the Billboard 200.

To ensure such, Offset has unveiled a cinematic video for the album’s tune, ‘Quarter Milli.’  Tapping Gucci Mane to assist, the clip – set in the 1920s – sees the duo as old school gangsters who’ve band together to pull of a bank heist before jetting off into the sunset with a quarter milli in cash.

When Beyonce decided not to star in the latest telling of the ‘A Star is Born’ story the coast became clear for the brilliant Lady Gaga to swoop in and fill the vacant position.

Unfortunately, this has caused unnecessary tension between their respective fan bases as Beyonce’s fans feel her decision not to make the movie rescued Gaga from the supposed career slump she faced before its release.

There’s more.

For, the ‘Love Drought‘ star’s supporters also believe their rivals are inventing awards to give to their leader so her single ‘Shallow’ nabs a title owned by the groundbreaking self-confidence anthem ‘Formation’.

Khia  has hit out at the entertainer Billy Porter because she feels he needs to “dress like a man.”

The performer made headlines when he attended this year’s Oscars in what some described as a gender-fluid fit and has now been urged by Khia to wear clothes she believes are befitting of men.

Do you agree with her?

That’s why society has a problem with this. If your back is as wide as the Incredible Hulk I don’t want to see you in a ball gown.
