Its plot? The fascinating tale of a girl who takes a journey into her dark past as she seeks to uncover the truth about her ties to the Rwandan civil war.

I was never quite sure exactly what this famous quote meant, but by following the fictional journey of a young black British woman on an epic and deeply personal quest to bring a Rwandan genocidaire to legal justice–now I do. And now I know just how crucial, difficult and terrifying that phrase can seem to anyone in pursuit, and denial, of international criminal justice.

The ‘Queen’ is here!

Nicki Minaj‘s eagerly awaited fourth studio album has made its grand arrival.

Preceded by singles ‘Chun-Li,’ ‘Rich Sex,’ and ‘Bed,’ the LP serves as Onika’s first since 2014’s ‘The Pinkprint.’

Joining her on the 19-song-set are a host of major names including Eminem, Ariana Grande, The Weeknd, and Ariana Grande.

For rising star Stefflon Don today started off as an exciting one, following the reveal of her ‘Secure’ mixtape cover and release date.

Many immediately noticed the artwork’s striking resemblance to that of Lil Kim‘s ‘Notorious K.I.M’ – something Steff confirms was intentional:

Soooooooo I actually dropped one tear while posting this? im just so excited, grateful but nervous at the same damn time ?Yes i payed homage to Lil KIM because I honestly don’t think i would be as fearless as i am without her period!!!!!!! 

Well, it appears Kim’s longtime foe Foxy Brown was none-too-impressed. Because she blocked Steff shortly after!

As its title implies, it was a no brainer that the song ‘No Brainer’ – the DJ Khaled led affair featuring Justin Bieber, Chance the Rapper, and Migos star Quavo – would be a hit.

Assembling some of Urban music’s heaviest hitters, it’s clear Khaled’s looking for a repeat of the star-studded hit ‘I’m the One’ (which featured the likes of the aforementioned trio alongside Lil Wayne). And, if the top 5 debut of the cut on this week’s Hot 100 is any indication, the repeat looks to be imminent.

Shortly after issuing a statement to concerned fans about her recovery efforts post reported drug overdose (click here to read more), troubled pop star Demi Lovato seemed to be on the mend as an announcement followed her latest album – ‘Tell Me You Love Me’ – would be receiving the re-release treatment. Branded a ‘deluxe edition,’ the set – which debuted at #2 upon its official premiere – would receive 3 “new” songs added to its tracklist, a feat that’s already boosted streaming figures.

Alas, fans who took the announcement as indication Lovato was back in action were disappointed to learn she’s extending her stay in rehab.  The move, as Live Nation has reported, has forced the cancellation of the remainder of her ‘Tell Me You Love Me’ world tour.

Kanye West elected Twitter as the primary means of promotion for latest album ‘Ye’ – and, at the time, his every waking thought.

Of said thoughts was his declaration of love for Donald Trump – the height of which saw him rock a ‘Make America Great Again’ hat.

Naturally, given the current racial tensions in the US, many of West’s Urban core lashed out at the rapper for betrayal. Not only of them, but of his earlier expressed stance about former US president George Bush not caring about Black people.

During their candid sit-down, Kimmel questioned Kanye on this in regards to Trump and his response was oh so telling.

Hotly anticipated, the third season of the show promises many a twist and turn for leads Rae and Molly (played Yvonne Orji).

After much ado, Nicki Minaj will finally unleash her fourth studio album ‘Queen’ today!

The revelation came during the rapper’s much touted Queen Radio stint on Apple Music this morning.

Ahead of the set’s arrival, the Hip-Hop titan has amplified buzz by unveiling the LP’s official tracklist.

Per pre-released offerings ‘Bed’ and ‘Rich Sex,’ the project features guest appearances from Ariana Grande and Lil Wayne. 

But they aren’t the only ones joining Onika.

She’s enlisted an eclectic list of guests, including Eminem, Foxy Brown, and The Weeknd.
