Mariah Carey may have one of the most prolific music catalogues of all time, but she’s not resting on her laurels.
Instead, she’s amplifying her work rate. Because just days after wrapping the latest instalment of her Las Vegas residency, she officially set sail on the ‘Caution World Tour’ in Irving, Texas last night.
Mounted in support of her recently released album of the same name, the trek will first play to US audiences before expanding to Europe in the coming months.
As for what folk can expect? Mimi has revamped her tried and true format in favor of a setlist that touched on smashes a la ‘We Belong Together,’ long-benched bops such as ‘Anytime You Need A Friend,’ and boasted a lengthy section dedicated to her cult classic ‘Glitter.’

The superstar took home the Best Original Song honor for ‘A Star Is Born’ smash ‘Shallow’ and rocked the stage with Bradley Cooper for a historic performance of the track.
Still on cloud 9, Mother Monster stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live to discuss her win and the upcoming encore theater run of ‘Star’ – which boasts 12 additional minutes of footage and new song ‘Clover.’
She also took a moment to address the rampant rumors of a romance with Cooper following their chemistry-heavy showing on Sunday night.
