This hasn’t gone unnoticed by the music publisher Sony ATV who have now handed the performer a gargantuan advance in exchange for her shares on the tracks she writes for herself and others.

Katy Perry lends her signature brand of Pop power ballad to the new Final Fantasy mobile game courtesy of the track, ‘Immortal Flame.’

“Dreams hardly ever do come true / I guess I’m lucky ’cause I found myself waking up next to you,” she wails on the new tune. “Oh, and with this raging heart of mine, I’ll love you til the end of time / Cause I want to live a thousand lives, and be your immortal flame.”

Netflix hopes to cast a spell on its subscribers with a brand new set of TV shows and movies set for takeoff in 2019.

Leading the charge is ‘Siempre Bruja‘, a story about a young African girl (who lived in 1646) who is brought back to life in present day following her murder.

Robin Thicke returns and bares his truth on emotional single ‘Testify.’

Lyrically transparent, the crooner waxes honest about his the professional hardships he’s encountered in recent years, as well as the personal hurdles – which include a divorce from wife Paula Patton and the passing of his father.

Recorded at Thicke’s Malibu home (which burned down in the California wildfire), the singer said of the song:

“When I made this record I wanted to sing my whole truth and lead off the new album singing my ass off.”

Said LP, the follow-up to 2014’s ‘Paula,’ will be the star’s first for indie imprint EMPIRE Records (home to Tyga and most recently Iggy Azalea). Thicke was previously signed to Interscope.
