Don Lemon doesn’t feel Ellen DeGeneres was wrong for urging the general public to forgive Kevin Hart for his homophobic remarks because she, as far as he sees it, wasn’t the offended party.

Many of Hart’s tweets were directed at gay men of colour which left many feeling that Ellen found it easy to forgive and forget because she isn’t/wasn’t on the receiving end of his supposed vitriol.

R. Kelly’s efforts to silence his sexual abuse victims have fallen flat once again thanks to Dream Hampton and the millions who are tuning in/engaging with her docu-series ‘Surviving R. Kelly.’

Now, the performer (who is said to be riddled with wild sexually transmitted diseases) has learned that the heat he is facing for his horrific acts is to intensify in the coming week.

Why? Because the marriage certificate he forged to force the late Aaliyah to sign when she was a minor has surfaced online.

As social media commenters continue to discuss ‘Surviving R. Kelly,’ the jaw-dropping Lifetime documentary that premiered this week to highlight the longstanding sexual abuse allegations that surround singer R. Kelly, the debate for who is to blame rages on.

From fingers pointed to the alleged victims’ parents to members of Kelly’s entourage and more, the conversation – which is also fueled by a segment of the program dedicated to the ‘I Believe I Can Fly’ star’s documented relationship with the late songstress Aaliyah when she was underage – recently took an interesting turn thanks to unearthed archived footage of another of her producers – Timbaland (born Timothy Mosley).

Mosley, who credits his contributions to the singer’s 1996 album, ‘One In a Million,’ as his breakthrough work, also revealed in a 2011 episode of E!’s “True Hollywood Story” that he fell in love with her shortly after their initial meeting.  The problem?  She was only 16…

In disheartening news that ironically comes as little surprise, R. Kelly – presently at the center of a media firestorm thanks to the scathing Lifetime documentary ‘Surviving R. Kelly’ – is still enjoying the fruit of the very labor designed to bring him down.

The three part docuseries, which features interviews and cameos from the Grammy winner’s alleged sexual abuse victims as well as people who claim to have witnessed said perversion, premiered last night and set social media alight with its jaw-dropping accusations.  And, while the debate that accompanied the hashtag #SurvivingRKelly saw a number of commenters disgusted by the evidence presented in the documentary, there were certainly a fair share of defenders of the ‘Bump N’ Grind’ star.

Their collective defenses obviously escalated from words to action as real time iTunes and Spotify charts both report INCREASED activity surrounding some of Kelly’s most popular titles.  Details below:
