Jacquees, self-proclaimed King of R&B (of his generation), is looking to royally delight fans with live offerings of cuts found aboard his debut studio album, ‘4275,’ with a like-titled North American tour.

Touching every corner of the United States over 23 dates, ‘Quees will be bringing his eee’s and mixed reviewed remixes to the likes of Salt Lake City, Atlanta, Houston, Los Angeles, and more before wrapping up in Silver Spring, MD on March 3.

Welcome to Retro Rewind, the TGJ original feature carved out to celebrate the magic of cinema.

Today, we revisit the gem that is ‘Eve’s Bayou‘ which explores the traumatic yet fantastical nature of memories. In it, Jurnee Smollett plays a young girl named Eve Batiste whose life is changed when she witnesses a traumatic scene which she is asked to bury by “reimagining” what happened.

It isn’t long before the truth about what she sees and what is out there decides that it is no longer willing to hide in the dark.

Memory is a selection of images – some elusive, others printed indelibly on the brain. The summer I killed my father, I was ten years old.

Now, the delightful actress Letitia Wright has learned that her star power drew in $1.5 billion in 2018 placing her on top of a list filled by the likes of Meryl Streep, Samuel L. Jackson, Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt.

To the delight of her beloved fans, affectionately called #Fighters, May 2018 delivered Christina Aguilera‘s announcement of her first tour in a decade – the ‘Liberation’ tour.

Designed to support her latest album of the same name, the jaunt – which kicked off in late September – saw the Grammy winner crank out her greatest hits alongside some of the project’s gems in theaters and concert halls across North America.

A short, but sweet outing, the trek not only drew in great reviews from critics, but now that final box office figures are in, it apparently drew in a great response commercially as well…

Bravo‘s ‘Married To Medicine’ has been praised for being the best reality offering on the network. So, it’s only fitting that the show is bringing an avalanche of drama for its season six reunion.

And if folk thought the first part brought the flames, previews of the next instalment makes clear that matters boil to dizzying degrees. .

Mariah Huq and Quad Webb-Lunsford clash in a colossal showdown – with accusations of drug use and sleeping with married men levied.

In the said episode Miss Quad comes face to face with estranged husband Gregg for the first time since filing for divorce months prior. Their segment looks to be the most heated of all.

During their exchange, the former couple accuse each other of abuse – including shoving and a knife attack.

Elsewhere, Toya Bush-Harris and Contessa Metcalfe are still at odds, while Simone Whitmore and Jackie Walters offer updates on their marriages.

As its ratings and reviews continue to dip ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta‘ finds itself forced to consider welcoming fan favourite turned villain Phaedra Parks back into its fold

Good news for her fans…bad news for Kandi Burruss.

For, Parks parted ways with the series after the world learned that she (and one of the show’s producers) were behind talk that Burruss had intended to assault cast member Porsha Williams.
