Rarely do spin-off’s and sequels best the original. However ‘Love & Hip-Hop‘s Hollywood edition is re-writing all of the rules.

Royally ratchet, the addictive series is making a serious beeline for the top-spot with its sizzling storylines.

Now in its fifth season, the show returns to VH1 next Monday (July 23rd), and an action-packed super-trailer has been unlocked to whet appetites.

‘Love & Hip-Hop’ veteran K. Michelle makes her Hollywood debut and, as you’ll see below, makes waves from the get-go. Her story arc appears to center on the removal of her derriere implants and relationship drama between returnees Lyrica Anderson and A1.

Also back in the mix are the likes of Ray J and Princess (who gear up for the birth of their daughter), Teairra Mari, Nikki Baby, Moniece, Bridget Kelly and Safaree. As reported, social media sensation LaBritney has joined the cast too.

Mariah Carey may have almost 30 years of success under her belt, but she’s not slowing down anytime soon.

Currently wrapping up the first set of shows of her ‘Butterfly Returns’ residency in Las Vegas, Mimi is looking ahead to new music. Specifically, her long-awaited comeback album.

Beyond its existence, little is known about the set apart from the fact that she’s been in the lab with Poo Bear  (Justin Bieber’s ‘Sorry’) and Jermaine Dupri.

Over the last few days, not only has Carey re-teamed with the latter, she’s also provided an update on the project.

Azealia Banks is at it again.

The rapper hit headlines yesterday when she took aim at Nick Cannon and his show Wild ‘N Out – claiming that she was ambushed branded ugly during a recent taping.

Well, Wendy Williams discussed the matter on her show this morning and (like most) didn’t have the most favorable take on the femcee’s “alleged” plight.

Never one to hold her acid-soaked tongue, Banks took to social media to hurl the worst kind of filth Williams’ way.

Janet Jackson is playing approximately no games with the latest leg of her ‘State Of The World Tour.’

The Pop queen is bringing the same blazing brand of fire showcased on the trek’s premiere leg, but has upped the ante with new choreography, outfits, songs, and more.

Case in point her scorching offering of ‘If.’

An all-dance affair, the 52-year-old dazzled with the fierce ferocity of an act half her age and even weaved in some of the much-loved Kaytranada remix.

And, as Forbes continues to draw criticism for referring to the mom-of-one’s forthcoming billionaire status as “self-made,” her fans are courting even worse tongue lashings for working to make that projection a reality.

With the release of her fourth studio album, ‘Sweetener,’ just weeks away, Ariana Grande is driving her promo runs into overdrive in its support.

Ahead of premiering a Madonna-assisted video for the set’s latest single, ‘God is a Woman’ (click here to watch), Grande was spotted striking a pose a-front ‘Elle’ magazine (click here to see more).  There, she not only dished on the Manchester bombing, ‘Sweetener,’ and more, but – as has been revealed in behind the scenes footage – gave fans a sneak peek at one of its gems, ‘R.E.M.,’ and played an ‘Encore’-inspired game that saw her sing the likes of Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, and more.

Are the cast and crew of MTV’s hit sketch comedy series, ‘Wild ‘N Out,’ colorist?  Ask rapstress Azealia Banks and she’d say yes.

Taking to Instagram over the weekend, the ‘Ice Princess’ performer – who was on hand to perform a bit of improv –  said members of the show gave her the cold shoulder and subjected her to a number of jokes about the complexion of her skin.  The experience angered her to tears, an occurrence she detailed in her Instagram rant.

Debuted at the second London date of their ‘On The Run II Tour,’ the 9-song set was turbo-powered by lead offering ‘APESH*T’ and its high-octane video.
