Based on Paula Hawkins book of the same name, the movie follows the life of a recently divorced woman whose life is ruined by addiction to alcohol.

Keen to escape her reality and venture into her past she rides the train but soon finds herself trapped in a fiery circle of danger when one of her journeys leads her to a murder.

With little advance notice rap god J. Cole has blessed fans with his fifth studio album, ‘KOD.’

Announced and previewed earlier this week with an impromptu New York show (click here to read more than that), the project comes as the highly anticipated follow-up to 2016’s chart-topping ‘4 Your Eyez Only.’

All roads lead to April 27th for songstress Janelle Monae.

The eclectic stage blazer will plug the masses into her new album ‘Dirty Computer’ on said date and is giving folk an extended preview of what to expect with new number ‘I Like That.’

Though sonically a different flavor to previously heard jams ‘Django Jane,’ ‘Make Me Feel,’ and ‘PYNK,’ the song is lyrically cut from the same cloth in that it’s a celebration of self-love and an embrace of “otherness.”

Past instalments have seen etiquette serve as the center of conflict. However, the show’s third cycle sees drama between the Maryland matriarchs escalate like never before.

‘Potomac’ originals Gizelle Bryant, Karen Huger, Ashley Darby, and Robyn Dixon are back in the mix. As is last season’s addition Monique Samuels.

No nonsense newcomer Candiace Dillard (a former Miss America) has been cast as a full time Housewife – replacing Charrisse Jackson-Jordan who will now appear in a “Friend Of” capacity.

With actress Erica Ash (‘Survivor’s Remorse’, ‘Real Husbands of Hollywood’) tapped to topline, April 10th brought with it the unveiling of BET’s fast-paced legal drama, ‘In Contempt.’  Featuring a star-studded cast filled out by the likes of Richard Lawson, Christian Keyes, and more, the series sees Ash portray “Gwen Sullivan” (a talented, tough, and opinionated public defender whose passion for her work makes her hated among her colleagues in an unforgiving legal system).

Its premiere this week was greeted by a wealth of promising reviews from viewers who took to social media to express their approval and anticipation for what was to come.  Unfortunately, that fanfare was not reflected by the week’s end when official ratings were revealed.  Not even placing in the top 50 most watched shows of the night, ‘In Contempt’ managed to rake in….

‘Scandal’ is bowing out – after seven seasons.

The Weeknd is on a roll, that’s for sure.

Just days after seeing his surprise EP, ‘My Dear Melancholy,’ top the Billboard 200 with first week sales north of 160,000 (click here to read more on that), the Grammy-winning singer rolled out a full short film in support of one its songs, ‘He Was Never There’ (click here to watch).

‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ favorite Kandi Burruss has long stood by the statement: “don’t start nothing, won’t be nothing.”

And though castmate Kim Zolciak is well aware of this – it seems she required a refresher.

The pair have clashed on season 10 of the Bravo hit and off-camera via social media.

Fed up with Zolciak’s alleged jabs, Burruss served the ultimate clap-back and brought her receipts with her.
