Amara La Negra is wasting no time capitalizing on her ‘Love & Hip-Hop: Miami’ exposure.

With the concluding part of the show’s reunion airing on VH1 tonight, the Afro-Latina bombshell has unleashed new single ‘Insecure.’

The flavorsome jam is the first taste of the 28-year-old’s crossover project – due via BMG later this year.

Recent times have seen the likes of K. Michelle and Cardi B establish viable careers after intros via ‘Love & Hip-Hop.’ Can Amara follow-suit?

‘Scandal’ is back for its 7th and final season.

Over the years, the Kerry Washington led show has boasted some of the most dramatic twists and turns in TV history and its swan song promises even more.

Forming a central part of the revived TGIT (Thank God It’s Thursday) block of programming, the political drama looks set to go out with a bang. A consolation, no doubt, for fans sad to see the show go.

With their respective movie offerings to the Lifetime television network Grammy winners Queen Latifah (‘Flint,’ ‘Steel Magnolias’) and Toni Braxton (‘Unbreak My Heart,’ ‘Faith Under Fire’) have jointly and individually delivered the women’s channel millions in ratings and some of its most viewed programming to date.

For this reason the leading ladies will see their names line the production credits of a number of the its forthcoming films.  During its recent upfront presentation, Lifetime exec Tanya Lopez exclaimed:

“Both Queen Latifah and Toni Braxton have been part of the Lifetime family for many years and its proven that our audiences love them as much as we do and we are excited they will be back on the network for even more,” said Lopez, EVP of movies…

Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert are heading to a screen near you later this month.

As reported, VH1 have tapped the star and her Cleveland Cavaliers husband to anchor  their own reality series – aptly titled ‘Teyana & Iman.’

Set to premiere March 26th at 9/8c, the series follows the newlyweds as they navigate their professional and personal lives – the latter of which includes raising their baby daughter Junie.
