Following a longer than planned hiatus (to accommodate Kerry Washington‘s pregnancy), the show picks up right where it left off – with fireworks!

Forming a central part of the revived TGIT (Thank God It’s Thursday) block of programming, the political drama promises (and is already delivering) many an explosive twist and turn for its sixth season. Election, anyone?!

As reported here, Trey Songz is taking a very unique approach to promoting his new album, ‘Tremaine,’ by teaming up with VH1 for a “reality” dating show.  Titled ‘Tremaine the Playboy,’ the web series will see the R&B heartthrob look to give his heart to one of 20 female contestants (including the likes of Kayla Nicole, Holly Joso, Neeandra Brooks and more).

While there are conflicting reports on the parodic nature of the series, what we can say for sure is that you can catch Episodes 2 & 3 of the Steelo Brim & Draya Michele -hosted fair inside:

If folk thought Chris Brown‘s woes were limited to semi-frequent bad press, they’re grossly mistaken.

Billboard have gone to press with a scathing exposé of the R&B bad boy, one that de-trivializes his antics and paints a picture that it altogether darker and more worrying that anyone could have thought.

Having bagged three Grammys Awards, Chance The Rapper has an undoubtedly bright future ahead of him.

So who better to team with than Hip-Hop force Future.

In a nod perhaps to higher heights, Chance has shared snippets of the pair’s new collaboration ‘My Peak.’

There’s no word yet on where it’ll reside, as the indie wonder is still in the promotional cycle for his “mixtape” ‘Coloring Book’ and Future just dropped his self titled LP.

It’s been nearly three years since R&B heartthrob Trey Songz graced charts with his album, ‘Trigga,’ but any fans growing impatient for its follow-up are about to get their wishes granted.

Sending his followers into a frenzy with the release of ‘Nobody Else But You,’ the first single from the long-awaited album ‘Tremaine,’ Songz uses the tune’s visual to incorporate scenes from his parodic  reality dating show ‘Tremaine the Playboy’ (read more about that here).

While Adele‘s sweep, Beyonce‘s performance, and Rihanna‘s shut-out are the main topics of discussion post the 2017 Grammy Awards, a little known singer – Joy Villa – garnered her fair share of attention after her stunt on the ceremony’s red carpet.

As we revealed here, the singer/songwriter took to the pre-show affair donning a politically charged, pro-Donald Trump dress that featured the caption “Make America Great Again.”  Earning her an unceremonious slamming from a number of commenters – some of whom even propelled death threats – the move also earned high praise from the sitting president’s supporters.

In fact, so much support Villa woke up to news her 2014 EP, ‘I Make the Static,’ edged out Beyonce for the top spot on iTunes.  This despite Bey having the most talked about performance of the night…

Smash hit series ‘How To Get Away With Murder’ is back for a titillating third season.

All roads lead to March 4th for Haitian hitmaker Jason Derulo.

The singer/songwriter, who most recently made headlines for unveiling plans to launch his own label, is looking to return the focus to his own music career by drumming up buzz for his new single ‘Swa-Lah.’

Tapping rappers Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign to assist, the single – set for full unveil in less than a month – has been getting teased in one way or the other by the singer since late 2016.  Now, as a listen to an official preview or snippet is undoubtedly imminent, Derulo is looking to push that buzz into overdrive by unveiling the tune’s official artwork.
