‘Neighbors Know My Name’ maestro Trey Songz is seeing his name run atop headlines yet again for a lawsuit brought on by allegations of assault.
A month after learning he’d evaded misdemeanor domestic violence charges for the reported attack of Andrea Buera, the singer/rapper – in an incident unrelated to Buera’s – was named defendant in two lawsuits stemming from an episode where his belligerent behavior allegedly caused the injury of a police officer and a photographer (click here to read more on that).
Now, another plaintiff is stepping forward with accusations the Grammy-nominee inflicted ‘mental and physical injury’ as well as ‘cosmetic disfigurement’ to her outside of a gentlemen’s club in Philadelphia.

The wheels on the promo machine never stop turning for Jennifer Lopez.
The 48-year-old, easily Hollywood’s hardest working woman, recently celebrated her 100th show aboard the highly successful Sin City residency, ‘All I Have,’ and took to ‘Good Morning America’ (courtesy of ABC News) this morning (June 11) to dish on it.
Also hot on the promo trail in support of her new single, ‘Dinero’ (featuring DJ Khaled and Cardi B), Lopez dropped dibs on how the collaboration came to be, her future with boyfriend/baseball legend Alex Rodriguez, and so much more.
Leaving few bases untouched, tuck inside to hear J.Lo sound off on the latest happenings in her world (#ICYMI):
The already warmed promo trail is certainly set to heat up for Pop siren Christina Aguilera in the coming days.
With a number of graced magazine covers, radio, award shows, and more already in her rearview, fans can still expect to see and hear much of the Grammy-winner this week leading up to the release of her long-awaited new album, ‘Liberation’ (in stores June 15).
Her most recent pit stop? A visit to ‘Glamour’s online ‘You Sang My Song’ segment – a series that sees popular singers weigh in on Youtube acts who’ve covered their songs. With P!nk, Mariah Carey, Demi Lovato, and other big-named acts among the segment’s past guests, Aguilera sat down with the beauty mag for her turn to view the likes of ‘American Idol’ alum Vonzell Solomon and more put their interesting twists on her classics ‘Ain’t No Other Man,’ ‘Genie In a Bottle,’ ‘The Voice Within,’ and so much more.
Hear her feedback to the talented hopefuls inside:
With ABC’s revival of ‘American Idol’ proving itself quite the consistent ratings winner thanks to its talented hopefuls, revamped format, and judges Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie, FOX – the show’s former network home – re-entered the reality-singing competition race to face off against the likes of ‘Idol’ and ‘The Voice’ by birthing ‘The Four.’
The series, with a judges’ panel featuring DJ Khaled, Meghan Trainor, and P. Diddy (alongside hostess Fergie), was a consistent ratings draw for the network despite routinely pulling in less than half the viewers of its contemporaries.
While its season 1 finale did manage to court more eyes than its premiere, just four months later its season 2’s premiere (June 7) reported a serious plunge. See the numbers inside:
Ahead of its premiere in theaters on June 13th, the Trevor Jackson-led remake of the classic blaxploitation film, ‘SuperFly,’ saw its official soundtrack fly onto digital shelves.
Curated by rapper Future, the star-studded tracklist – which features the likes of 21 Savage, Khalid, H.E.R., Young Thug, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Lil Wayne, and more – also features the smooth offerings of Grammy-winning crooner Miguel.
Lending his vocals to the piano laced tune ‘R.A.N.’ (an abbreviation for “real a** n***a), look inside to hear one of many gems found aboard the ‘Superfly’ soundtrack (in stores now):
Thanks to his latest album, ‘Ye,’ rapper Kanye West is currently reigning over the Billboard 200 by his lonesome (click here to read more). The critically acclaimed LP (released June 1) followed Pusha T‘s ‘Daytona’ as the second of five promised projects from the hitmaker’s hands (as artist or producer).
Now, with both releases making their mark on album charts, June 8th brought with it the unveiling of the third of the five sets – ‘Kids See Ghosts.’ A collaborative effort from West and Kid Cudi, the long-awaited opus came out swinging from the moment it hit shelves but faces tough competition from the likes of veteran rockers The Dave Matthews Band.
After three days of availability industry analysts have begun wielding predictions on how ‘Kids’ will fare by the end of its first tracking week. Is West set to nab his 9th consecutive chart-topper? See the numbers inside and find out:
