Lady Gaga steps into her first lead role on the big screen this Fall when Bradley Cooper‘s remake of ‘A Star Is Born’ hits the box office.
As widely reported, the project – which sees Gaga appear as Ally – will feature a heavy musical component. Hence, its soundtrack is almost as anticipated as the film itself.
To ensure it delivers, Mother Monster has re-teamed with Diane Warren.

To show her gratitude to her faithful #Barbz for making ‘Chun Li’ her latest single to earn a Gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), Nicki Minaj has invited them to a behind-the-scenes look at its creation.
Beyond its top 10 peak on the Hot 100 (to date), ‘Chun’ spun its way to Gold status earlier this week – a feat the rapstress used as a vehicle to launch news about a documentary that will support its parent album, ‘Queen.’
Due August 10th, the documentary promises to be a telling look into the world of one of music’s most talked about female figures and not only features looks at the making and baking of her fourth album’s content, but also looks to help quiet those ongoing murmurs of ghostwriter employment.

Bobby Brown‘s broken his silence on the controversial album cover artwork of Pusha T‘s ‘Daytona’ which features a drug-laden bathroom believed to have been that of pop icon Whitney Houston‘s.
T ultimately distanced himself from the matter after claiming Kanye West (who also acts as a musical contributor on the project) is the culprit behind purchasing the rights to the photo. With the focus shifted, the ‘I Will Always Love You’ singer’s family members (namely her cousin) weighed in on the ‘Heartless’ rapper by labelling him and the act ‘absolutely disgusting.’
In a recent interview, Brown echoed the sentiment:
“That’s really disgusting that he would do that,” Brown said. “That’s in really bad taste.”
He didn’t stop there, however. Look inside to read the harsh words he had for the ‘G.O.O.D.’ creator:
Childish Gambino’s latest, ’This is America,’ may have lost its grip atop the Hot 100 this week after leading the tally for two consecutive weeks (click here to read more on that), but the politically charged cut still has much to celebrate.
Beyond an ongoing domination of streaming charts (including Youtube, Spotify, and more) thanks to its Hiro Murai-directed music video, the tune’s similarly handsome faring on digital tallies has helped it become his latest platinum single…less than a month after its debut.
Well on its way to reaching the 4x platinum status of Gambino’s most popular single to date, ‘Redbone,’ tuck inside for more details surrounding the awesome feat:
Chiwetel Ejiofor has joined the cast of ‘Maleficent II‘, the action-adventure fantasy movie fronted by Angelina Jolie.

May 16th brought with it the long-awaited arrival of ‘Fall In Line’ – a staunch feminist anthem powered by powerhouse vocalists Christina Aguilera and Demi Lovato. Christened the lead single from the former’s June 15th-due eighth opus, ‘Liberation,’ the cut was instantly greeted with critical acclaim – a fanfare mirrored commercially as it almost immediately shot to #1 on digital sales tallies (click here to read more).
And, while that commercial support was further extended thanks to streaming, Youtube views, and later sales boosts afforded by the song’s first televised performance at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards (May 20), official chart rankings delivered some two weeks after ‘Fall’s premiere do not necessarily reflect the ballyhoo that preceded it.
Debuting at #1 on the Bubbling Under Charts (right outside of the Hot 100), ‘Fall’ – albeit starting off better than its predecessor, ‘Accelerate’ – is not exactly off to the best of beginnings. However, with promo set to ramp up in the coming days ahead of ‘Liberation’s delivery to digital shelves, the Jon Bellion-produced number will undoubtedly see some benefit of the public showings.
