Mariah Carey‘s E! docu-series ‘Mariah’s World’ set off to a promising start last month. Yet in recent weeks fans have been turned off by the increasing lean towards soap opera antics.

Indeed, as the singer attempts to spin her break-up from billionaire businessman James Packer, the show has focussed less on her ‘Sweet Sweet Fantasy Tour’ and more on her blossoming “relationship” with dancer Bryan Tanaka.

And with the finale set to air this Sunday, a preview teaser has sent some fans into a fit of fury.

Vanity Fair captures the media’s move towards increased diversity on their 2nd annual Hollywood Portfolio cover.

Stars, both established and rising, aligned for the striking shot which was lensed by Anne Leibovitz. 

Included is Janelle Monae, who has received rave reviews for her roles in ‘Hidden Figures’ and ‘Moonlight’ (both of which received several Oscar nominations).

Also featured is Lupita Nyong’o, whose recent film ‘The Queen Of Katwe’ was critically acclaimed.

We were also elated to spot Aja Naomi King. For, beyond her work on ‘How To Get Away With Murder,’ she’s still managing to shine through the darkness that encased ‘The Birth Of A Nation’ – which she starred in last year alongside Nate Parker.

Britney Spears is the latest high-profile name to receive the biopic treatment courtesy of Lifetime. 

Christened ‘Britney Ever After,’ the flick chronicles the hyper highs and public lows the Pop princess experienced. And yes, the Kevin Federline, head shaving, window-smashing episodes will be all be featured.

Natasha Bassett stars as Spears and will be aiming to make her mark.

Set to hit the small scene on February 18th (at 8pm ET), the first look preview has been released.
