After a lengthy break on the bench, ‘TGJ Replay’ is back!

Designed much like our ‘Retro Rewind’ and ‘From the Vault’ segments, ‘Replay’ is That Grape Juice‘s newest retrospective segment – a written quest, if you will, to re-spin the gems and jams of yesterday.

Unlike its ‘Rewind’ and ‘Vault’ predecessors, ‘Replay’ looks to dust off and showcase entire albums (and eras) from a library of pop and Urban pop music hits.  Today we roll down memory lane to Urban princess Ciara‘s criminally underrated album ‘Fantasy Ride’…

That Grape Juice is your 2014 Stellar Award headquarters!

Indeed, today TGJ will be landing in Nashville to rock the red carpet with the likes of gospel music’s top stars! Celebrating the past year’s best and brightest on the genre’s biggest night, the show is set to be illuminated by show-stopping performances from Mary Mary’s Erica Campbell, Donald Lawrence, Hezekiah Walker, Tasha Cobbs, and more!

The 29th Stellar Awards will be broadcast live on UPtv from Nashville’s Municipal Auditorium on tonight at 7pm ET.

March 2nd is when it all goes down!  The 2014 Academy Awards saw their coveted nominations unveiled today and, much to the delight of the cast/crew of ’12 Years A Slave’, ‘Gravity’, and ‘American Hustle’, the odds of winning seem mostly in their favor.

For, ‘American Hustle’ saw its name listed 10 times afront the tally – giving them the most nods this year.  ‘Slave’ and ‘Gravity’ follow with 9 each.  As many use the Golden Globes as precursors for who will win at the Oscars, it’s safe to say that ‘Slave’ – which walked away with the Globes top honor of ‘Best Drama’ – is atop people’s list for ‘Best Picture’ this year.
