In the midst of a sea of singles launched yesterday and today (see:  Zayn, David Guetta/Nicki Minaj, Mariah Carey/Remy Ma, Chris Brown, Iggy Azalea, and more), the surprise release of ‘Heart IV’ – the latest chapter of Lamar’s ongoing ‘Heart’ series – rose to the top of the iTunes Top 100 just hours after its release.

Serving as evidence of the high anticipation for its yet-titled parent album, the follow-up to 2015’s ‘To Pimp a Butterfly,’ the ringing response to ‘Heart IV’ is due in great part to social media buzz as listeners wonder who the emcee is dissing in the fiery tune:

Daley dazzles with help from R&B songbird Jill Scott.

The soul-filled duo deliver a dynamite duet in the form of ‘Until The Pain Is Gone,’ which has been issued as the lead release from the British singer’s sophomore album.

Previously signed to Polydor / Republic, the 27-year-old recently inked a lucrative deal with BMG.  ‘Gone’ serves as the first fruit of that union.

Three years after the release of his last album, ‘Trigga,’ R&B crooner Trey Songz has pulled the trigger on the release of its long-awaited follow-up, ‘Tremaine.’

Featuring the songs ‘She Lovin It,’ ‘Playboy,’ ‘Song Goes Off,’ and more, content from the eponymous LP (his seventh in his 12 year career) was unveiled in a unique manner – by being featured in a parodic VH1 reality series titled ‘Tremaine the Playboy.’

What we’re sure Songz is hoping will be no laughing matter is fans’ response to ‘Tremaine.’ Have your first listen inside and weigh in:
