Indeed, teaming with the smoky voiced songstress for the Victoria Monet-penned number,’Leave Me Lonely,’ the duo ooze soul and sex appeal over the heartbreak anthem. The release is the latest preview from Grande leading up to the Friday, May 20th release of her new album.

This is not a good marketing strategy, she’s basically leaked her own album at this rate and have nothing left to wow people over. Some songs sounds nice but still overall “blah” Ari needs to get real songwriters and get that ” SIGNATURE SONG ” or she will be walking towards the exit door soon enough. Three albums in and still I’m searchin and she needs to FIX THAT DAMN DICTION OF HERS lol I still can’t make out some lyrics and s***.

I like the song but it sounded waayyyyy better when she sang it live. There’s absolutely no soul, no emotion, no feeling in this version other than what Macy brings and I wish there was a second verse. It’s too short. I don’t know how releasing a song from the album everyday before the release is such a good idea either.
I like it… While not a fan of the album rollout I’m definitely liking this urban sound from her. It’s different… But I can only imagine someone like Fantasia or Jazmine Sullivan murdering this. no one can deny her vocals but she’s still missing soul
OK… To be honest this song is more fit for Macy.her voice was so haunting on this track. Macy and Anthony Hamilton would’ve LIT THIS TRACK UP. Ariannas voice is great and all but too nasally. I do however think the video will be something great given the right concept.
I need more music like this from Ariana. She brought vocals and gave it her all. This album is already much better than My Everything. I agree with the above comments though, I do not like the way this album is being rolled out.
Macy Gray digs at the surface with that soulful voice and Ariana Grande comes in and jabs the knife in deep and you’re sent on this amazing ride that is 10 levels of everything!!
