Those who have spun Remy Ma‘s latest studio set will agree that her work on the set is stellar.

Alas, her decision to go public with her problem with Nicki Minaj has only served to reignite more commercial interest in her rival’s music than her own.

Rapper Snoop Dogg has made it no secret his longstanding disdain for the sitting president Donald Trump, but some say he took a step too far when he – alongside BADBADNOTGOOD & Kaytranada  – recently unveiled the controversial video for ‘Lavendar (Nightfall Remix),’ a visual that sees the Doggfather shoot a toy gun at a clown-faced version of the U.S. Commander-In-Chief (named Ronald Klump).

Trump’s lawyer took to TMZ to call the clip ‘disgraceful’ while Senator Marco Rubio suggested it could encourage assassination attempts on the president.  Their sentiments are far from few as a number of Twitter users took to the social media platform to not only echo, but also damn the Grammy-nominated emcee for his treason and mocking the Donald.  Birthing the trending topic #BoycottSnoopDogg, the Jesse Wellens and James DeFina-directed video got so much traction reports are coming in the U.S. Secret Service is “aware” of the video may be keeping an eye on Snoop (read more on that by clicking here).

While more develops on that front, get into some of the fiery responses from Twitter users and weigh in:

“As long as it’s told correctly and everyone gets to tell their story, be a part of it, I think it’s important. If you’re gonna tell a part of my life, let me in on it.”

The quote above echoes a sentiment shared by fellow Destiny’s Child alum, Kelly Rowland, who took to Essence Live to discuss the possibility of a DC3 biopic after the success of BET’s biographical mini-series on legendary R&B group New Edition (click here to read more about that).

Williams, who dropped by ‘The Real’ today as guest co-host, elaborated on the prospect of the production with the show’s resident hostesses and engaged in some shady girl chat along the way.  Hear a bit inside if you missed it:

Rihanna‘s former flame Travis Scott has found a friend and collaborator in Gentleman’s Quarterly!

Responsible for more Urban smash hits than he is credited for, the maestro rocked GQ’s latest edition with a cover launched to support his 2016 release ‘Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight‘….and his new release ‘AstroWorld.’

It might be the best music that I made. I have two records on the album that are like, man, they are the best. They tore down ‘AstroWorld’ to build more apartment space. That’s what it’s going to sound like, like taking an amusement park away from kids. We want it back. We want the building back. That’s why I’m doing it. It took the fun out of the city.

Exciting times!

Your thoughts?

Rihanna is putting the rockiness of her ‘ANTI’ era behind her by making a big splash in the realm of film.

While fans quite literally beg for a video for recent hit ‘Love On The Brain,’ the Bajan belle has instead spent much of her time shooting ‘Oceans 8’ and Luc Besson’s ‘Valerian.’

Now, another movie is on her slate and this time it’s a musical.
