Kelly Rowland looks set to bring the tempo with her long-awaited new album.

The Destiny’s Child graduate turned solo Grammy winner has yet to release a body of work since 2013’s ‘Talk A Good Game.’ In the time since, she’s gotten married and had her son Titan Jewell. She’s also turned her attention to a slew of other projects in the TV, cosmetic, and literary arenas.

Music is still in the mix, she assures.

Speaking in a new interview, Rowland revealed that her upcoming material aims to dominate the dance-floor.

Rihanna, Alicia Keys, and Pink are just a few of the names that joined millions across the globe in solidarity for the Women’s March.

Purposefully timed to take place the day after Donald Trump‘s inauguration as US President, the rallies sought to celebrate womanhood and remind of the glaring inequalities that are still a reality. The latter being a core focus of the campaign given Trump’s sexually charged and degrading comments about women.

Beyond lending their name to the cause, the ladies rolled up their sleeves and took part.

‘Nobody Knows Me Better’ gospel singer Vicki Yohe should’ve known better than to so avidly announce her support of President Trump and his policies over the weekend.

On the same day a record 2.9 million women marched worldwide to convey a message of complete disapproval for the recently inaugurated businessman, Yohe – a white gospel singer with a strong Black following – took to Twitter to salute the ‘Apprentice’ star and ended up getting schooled by some angry followers in the process.

In yet another case of “where is your publicist,” Chrisette Michele is pouring fuel on the fire that lit her up this week.

As widely reported, the R&B singer accepted Donald Trump‘s invitation to perform at his inauguration. A decision which angered and irked many who are disgusted with his publisized views on minorities and women.

Spike Lee was one of those disappointed in Michele and consequently deleted plans to feature her song ‘Black Girl Magic’ in an upcoming documentary.

Now, following a show of support from Lil Mo, the 34-year-old is responding – with a little help from her fiance.

Both time and a common cause can be a healer.

In years past, Madonna and Cher have gone on record to say some pretty shady comments about one another.

However, the Pop titans put on a united front last night the Women’s March to Washington. 

Staged one day after the inauguration of President Donald Trump, the march saw civilians as well as a large number of celebrities take to the streets of DC (and countless other corners of the world) to assert the rights of women and protest Trump’s sexist views.

We’re loving the camaraderie, although we do still chuckle at this…

A number of notable names joined the roast, including The Roots star QuestLove (who offered to pay Michele not to perform) and filmmaker Spike Lee – who snatched her song ‘Black Girl Magic’ from a documentary he’s making.

And while most of said response was received with an approving nod from the masses, Michele’s former ‘R&B Divas: LA’ cast-mate Lil Mo is not impressed. Especially with Lee.

Frank Ocean commentary, like sightings of the singer, is a rarity.

However, the reclusive crooner was moved to muse publicly on the inauguration of the new US president – Donald Trump.
