Katy Perry has made no secret of it…she isn’t a fan of Taylor Swift‘s.
Allegedly on the receiving end of a number of the ‘Bad Blood’ singer’s infamous take-down schemes, Perry seemed to add fresh wood to their feud’s fire by recording herself dancing to Kanye West’s ‘Famous.’
Why this means anything?
Said song was penned to diss Swift and, much to her horror, used by West’s wife Kim Kardashian to expose a side of her personality her fans are often shielded from.

Talent and timing.
Lady Gaga is benefiting from both this week.
New album ‘Joanne’ is on-course to top the Billboard 200 with relatively impressive sales; a feat that surprised some given that it’s yet to yield a huge hit. [Lead offering ‘Perfect Illusion’ debuted and peaked at #15, quickly falling thereafter.]
That all looks set to change – and Mother Monster has Carpool Karaoke to thank for it.

If Billboard was looking to reignite the streaming vs. sales debate, they succeeded with a recent announcement.
Indeed, just two years after announcing the inclusion of streaming data for Billboard 200 placements and 8 months after RIAA made a similar move, now the music Bible is adding new scriptures to its evolving process.
“…as of charts dated Nov. 5 [the current week’s chart], SoundCloud plays now contribute to the streaming data that informs the Hot 100 and other genre hybrid songs charts, in addition to the consumption-based Billboard 200 albums chart. Additionally, Amazon Music Unlimited Streams now count toward Amazon’s overall chart contributions, along with streams from the Amazon Prime service, which has long been part of the chart panel.”
Granted, the move isn’t that major of a feat in the grand scheme, but it’s certainly enough to get tongues wagging – especially on the Billboard 200 front. Luckily for the week’s current chart champions, however, the involvement of numbers from the two new digital services hasn’t shaken up things too much.

While the dropping or outright dismissal of most of her civil and sexual assault complaints against producer Dr. Luke could be looked at as setbacks, fans of Kesha can rejoice at news the ‘Warrior’ singer is still fighting to have her new music heard, she reveals in a new interview with New York Times.
The NYT piece, her first since all of her legal drama began, sees the singer/songwriter pour fresh details on music she’s been working on, including over 20 songs she turned in to Sony for review over summer 2016. However, the issues – as the NYT article asserts – are the following:
Shortly after the story hit the presses, Luke’s lawyer offered a fiery clapback that not only branded the singer’s claims as “inaccurate”, but also suggested the NYT piece was simply another means to “mislead the public” and “gain unwarranted sympathy.” More details inside:

TLC made headlines last year when surviving members T-Boz and Chilli launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund their fifth and final album.

In the time since, news surrounding the project has been noticeably scarce.
However, the ladies haven’t been twiddling their thumbs idly; they’ve been recording.
And now it appears that they’re gearing up to release new material.
Moments ago, Apple Music snippets of two tracks – ‘Joy Ride’ and ‘Haters’ – surfaced.
