Much like with Katt Williams‘ interview before it, Mo’Nique‘s time on the Shannon Sharpe-hosted ‘Club Shay Shay‘ caused a firestorm of controversy for how explicitly she detailed her gripes with some of Hollywood’s biggest players.

From D.L. Hughley and Kevin Hart to Tiffany Haddish, Al Sharpton, Tyler Perry, Oprah Winfrey, and more, the brazen comedienne didn’t spare much criticism and detail about her estranged relationship with the aforementioned.

Because her delivery on ‘Club’ was met with mixed reception, the Academy Award winner – who has fittingly joined Katt aboard his ‘Dark Matter Tour‘ – took time on stage recently to address the people who say she owes some of the celebrities she dissed an apology.

Hop inside to see how she responded to the request.

Daniel Kaluuya has cooked up a major new production in the form of ‘The Kitchen.’

Stepping behind the camera, the Oscar winner takes on the directorial helm of the hotly anticipated film alongside Kibwe Tavares.

Led by Kane Robinson (Kano), ‘The Kitchen’ is a story set in a dystopian London and centers on community, inequality, family, class, joy, resilience, and more. It’s narratively anchored in the seismically stretched gap between rich and poor. Social housing has been wiped out and all that remains is… The Kitchen. A hub of sorts and one that inhabitants refuse to move out of.

Viewers will follow Izi, who lives there by necessity and is desperately angling for a way out, and 12-year-old Benji, who is seeking family after losing his mother. Together, they’re tasked with navigating a complex situation and establishing a bond.

Ahead of its premiere in January, check out the first-look trailer below…
