Recent times have JAY-Z shine light social injustice, such as the harrowing narrative of Trayvon Martin – the unarmed black teen killed by George Zimmerman.

The story has, for many, become one of the biggest examples of racial impropriety. Especially in light of Zimmerman’s not guilty verdict in 2015.

And Jigga wants to keep the spotlight on the situation.

He’s producing a documentary about the tragedy of justice centered on Zimmerman – and needless to say the controversial figure is far from pleased.

Fantasia brought her fiery brand of stage blazing to ‘The View’ this week.

The American Idol graduate was brought on as a guest of performer Darlene Love.

As one of the biggest groups of all-time, Destiny’s Child carved out a success story few can rival.

Azealia Banks and Remy Ma both made headlines this week when their fallout spilled onto social media.

It all started when ever-outspoken Azealia critiqued the ‘Wake Me Up’ femcee’s post-prison releases.

Rem hit back hard and brought receipts in the form of countless text messages from Banks – some of which were explicit.

Who’s well on his way to earning his 7th consecutive #1 album?  Eminem, that’s who.

The Grammy-winning rap superstar, whose last opus – ‘The Marshall Mathers LP 2’ – topped the charts in 2013 sent fans into a frenzy earlier this year when he unexpectedly announced the arrival of ‘Revival,’ his latest set (released December 15th).  Although boasting an all-star list of collaborators including the likes of P!nk, Alicia Keys, and more, this studio effort (unlike the seven before it) was not preceded to chart battle by an out-of-the-box hit as its lead single – the Beyonce-assisted ‘Walk on Water’ – quickly sank on charts.

However, if the predicted sales of the tune’s parent project are any indication, ‘Water’s nonperformance didn’t hinder its ability to sail right onto the top of the Billboard 200.  Look inside to see just how many its expected to move by the end of its tracking week next Friday:
