Iggy Azalea asserts on her hot new single that the only person she needs on her ‘TEAM’ is herself.

However, in putting the braggadocios-ness to the side, the rapper is opening up about the team that helped steer her away from the suicidal thoughts that threatened to end her life.

It’s well documented how “in” it was to drag “Iggy Azalea” deep down to the trenches in the wake of her social media showdown’s with fellow artists and the racial tensions that surrounded her ethnicity.

And while the Australian has proven herself quick to clap back (or at least try), she has remained relatively mum about the private turmoil she endured behind the scenes.

When I was approached last summer by the producers of ‘Vinyl,’ the first thing I thought was, ‘Damn that’s a David Bowie song. I was honored that the producers thought of such a legend and myself in the same breath. I had to do what I do best, because icons like David paved the way. After learning of his passing I knew that this was a special moment in time and this cover became my personal tribute to David. This Sunday sees the ladies of ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ congregate for their annual reunion special.

Though an altogether tamer run, season 8 of the Bravo hit has brought many a memorable moment.

One of the more notable is the rocky friendship between Kandi Burruss and Phaedra Parks.

The one-time bosom buddies have been at relative loggerheads over a variety of issues including an unfinished exercise video produced by Kandi’s hubby Todd Tucker, as well as his friendship with Phaedra’s incarcerated ex Apollo Nida.

A mysterious press release – issued by an entity allegedly posing as the singer’s label – touted the release of new music this week. Namely single ‘Again’ and the star’s long-awaited third album ‘L.I.A.R.’

And while the latter is an acronym for ‘Love Is A Religion,’ Hilson claims whoever sent it out is a flat-out liar, as neither the single nor its housing LP is ready for roll-out.

The ramifications of said actions won’t be light, according to the songbird.
