Ariana Grande may be on a musical hiatus of sorts, but that doesn’t stop her momentary musical endeavors from sending her fans into a flutter of excitement.

Such was the case moments ago when the songbird hatched the news that she’s teaming with frequent collaborator The Weeknd on a remix of his hit ‘Die For You.’

As reported, the original track is housed on Abel’s 2016 album ‘Starboy’ and received revived popularity after going viral on TikTok.

With ‘Die’ recently achieving a peak of #6 on the Billboard Hot 100 and topping the US Radio Songs chart this month (six years after its initial release), it looks like higher heights may be on the horizon thanks to the incoming Ari-assisted remix.

After becoming the longest-running top 5, top 10, top 20, and top 40 hit in the 64-year history of the Hot 100, ‘Blinding Lights’ – the blockbuster single found aboard The Weeknd‘s 2020 album ‘After Hours’ – clocked 90 weeks on the tally in late 2021, making it the chart’s longest-running song ever.

Its unprecedented staying power may have once seemed insurmountable, but this week English Rock band Glass Animals shattered the record with their scorching hit, ‘Heat Waves.’

Doja Cat‘s third album, ‘Planet Her,’ shows no signs of slowing its orbit around the Billboard 200’s top 10.

Released in June 2021, the hit-filled project peaked at #2 on the Billboard 200 (her highest mark on the album chart to date) and has been a mainstay among its best-sellers since.  Found at #9 on its refreshed edition, 27 of the LP’s 32 weeks aboard the tally have been in the top 10 – a feat that now makes it the longest-running top 10 female Rap LP in history.

That victory is due in no small part to the ongoing success of its singles, including the December 2021-released ‘Woman.’  Appearing at first to be a slow-starter, the song has rocketed into the Billboard Hot 100’s top 40 for the first time this week after a warm reception at radio.
