Hollywood is embroiled in a heated race debate after not a single actor or actress of color was nominated at the 2016 Oscars (in the four main acting categories).

In the time since the announcement, a host of names of weighed – most notably Jada Pinkett  whose video complaint has gone viral.

Now, following claims from ‘Fresh Prince‘ actress Janet Hubert that Jada is only jarred because her husband Will Smith wasn’t honored, Will himself has broken his silence.

Sitting down with Robin Roberts on Good Morning America moments ago, the wildly successful star shared his view on the matter – which unsurprisingly echo those of his wife. Interestingly, though, he reveals that he never knew she made the clip.

Following her split from Jimmy Iovine‘s Interscope Iggy Azalea made her way to the U.K. and signed with Universal’s EMI.

There, with the help of the label’s expertise, the rapper kicked off her career in the market with the well-received cut ‘Work’ which would lay the foundations for the her first U.S. hit ‘Fancy.’

Alas, today has seen her reveal that she is deeply annoyed by the label and plans to part ways with them.

Fleur East is wasting no time pounding the promotional pavement in support of new single ‘More & More.’

Fresh from announcing the song as the second cut from her debut album ‘Love, Sax, and Flashbacks,’ fire-filled Fleur rocked the house with the track at the 2016 National Television Awards last night.

Backed by a slick lady band, East roused London’s O2 Arena with her trademark sass, intricate choreography, and confident command of the stage.

We, personally, would have preferred to see the likes of ‘Breakfast’ or ‘Gold Watch’ gifted the single treatment; but with performances like this, we’re just glad to see such a talented act rocking the spotlight the way she is.

Rihanna fans have been waiting patiently (and impatiently) for her eighth studio album ‘ANTI’ for more than a year.

The lead (and subsequent) singles from the project begun being rolled-out one year ago, and still the LP’s release is an Unsolved Mystery. Even after the model commenced her distraction tactic of a Samsung campaign for the set, it only seemed to cause more confusion.

Fast forward to today, and per her professional handbag Melissa Forde, it appears the album is still not finished.

Songbird K. Michelle is ready to hatch the lead single from her new studio album.

With the latest season of her VH1 reality show ‘K. Michelle: My Life’ due to hit airwaves on January 25th, it looks as though the R&B belle will synchronize the show with the roll-out of the song – which now has a confirmed title of ‘Not A Little Bit.’

No word (yet) on who produced the track

To tease and titillate fans, Ms. Michelle has released a brief but sweet preview of the song – which is the first taste of fresh material since 2014’s sophomore effort ‘Anybody Wanna To Buy A Heart?’

Should one be on the hunt for the rapper Nicki Minaj they’ll find her in Queens, New York today.

Why? She’s hard at work on her forthcoming ABC TV series ‘Nicki‘ with the director Tim Story and a cast led by Selita Ebanks who portrays her mother in the dramatic comedy based on her childhood.

A release date for the project is yet to be announced but fans will be pleased to discover that it will feature original penned by the lady lyricist and a group of fictional characters she has teamed up with the show’s writers with to add to its comedic value!

Adele is making a beeline for the Grammy Awards 2016.

The Brit-bred songstress was not eligible for any nominations at this year’s ceremony as ‘Hello’ and its housing album ’25’ were both released after the September 30th cut-off point in 2015.

Still, that hasn’t stopped the committee from tapping the belter to perform at the 58th Annual ceremony on February 15th.
