Trina is gearing up for a busy 2018.

From the literal start of the year, the veteran femcee will be starring on ‘Love & Hip-Hop: Miami.’ A platform she’ll be using towards the promotion of her new album ‘The One’ – which is now due February 23rd. 

At also looks as though she’s prepping for a major collaboration with Nicki Minaj. Something that’s been hinted at previously, but now seems…confirmed.

N.E.R.D are just days away from releasing new album ‘NO_ONE EVER REALLY DIES’ – their first body of work in seven years.

The star-studded set features a who’s who of the music industry – including Rihanna and rapper Kendrick Lamar; with the latter appearing on two tracks.

One of said songs is christened ‘Don’t Don’t Do It!’ and has been unleashed today.

The socially-conscious cut was inspired by the harrowing story of Keith Lamont Scott – an Afro-American man killed by police in front of his wife. Despite not even being the suspect in question, he was fired at when asked to put his hands up. According to his family, he suffered from a brain ailment that made him unable to properly comprehend what he was being asked.

Her last words to her husband? ‘Don’t don’t do it.’

Saying SZA is on a roll is a gross understatement.

The singer/songwriter – who is currently enjoying her first Hot 100 top 10 ever courtesy of the Maroon 5-led ‘What Lovers Do’ – is doing it big by her lonesome thanks to hits ‘The Weekend’ and ‘Love Galore.’ 

After thrilling NBC viewers with performances of each tune on ‘SNL’ this past weekend (click here if you missed that), the Grammy nominee returned to the network yesterday (December 12) to bless ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ viewers with a taste of what attendees of her critically acclaimed ‘CTRL’ tour have been treated to.

Chris Brown just sprung a surprise on fans; an early Christmas gift of sorts.

The R&B rule-breaker is once again living up said billing by releasing more new songs from his still-new project ‘Heartbreak On A Full Moon.’

Christened “Deluxe Edition: Cuffing Season,” the project adds 12 tracks to the already beefy 45 cuts on the original. Which now makes a total of 57.

Joining the 28-year-old on the project (which is out now) are the likes of Ella Mai and Solo Lucci.

There remains open conversation about quality over quantity, but one does have to salute Chris for – at the very least – hooking his fans up on  consistent basis.

There, the ladies engaged in a moving conversation about womanhood, love, life, pain and their craft as well as the experiences which led them to the characters they portray in ‘Mudbound’ and ‘Beatriz at Dinner.’
