The ‘Electric Ladies’ that are Janelle Monae and Lupita Nyong’O stormed the ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ premiere in Hollywood, California last night.

Lupita portrays Maz Kanata in the project which also stars John Boyega and Harrison Ford and sizzled when she stepped out to support it with Monae’s help.

JoJo is Europe bound!

The big voiced belter is gearing up to bring her ‘I Am JoJo Tour’ across the pond next Spring.

Fans in the region have thirsted for a live return for years and the 24-year-old finally obliges.

The trek is mounted in support of the singer’s return to the music scene with her critically acclaimed “tringle.”

Remy Ma‘s first spin on the ‘Love & Hip Hop’ rollercoaster aired on VH1 yesterday evening and brought with it the first brick used to build the house that is her comeback.

Keen to use the platform to promote her new music the rapper dropped a brand new single shortly after the episode aired much to the delight of her supporters.

Its name is ‘Hands Down’ and it features Rick Ross and Yo Gotti who offer verses to support the star as she finds her feet on Hip-Hop’s current ground.

With the New Year all but upon us, Adele is gearing up to bless the charts with a brand new single from her epic selling ’25’ album.

The LP’s lead release ‘Hello’ has taken residency atop of the charts worldwide since its release on October 23rd. Case in point the US where it spends its sixth week at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

The ‘Independence Day‘ story continues without Will Smith.

Opting not to reprise his role as the movie’s leading man when he learned 20th Century Fox were gearing up to create its sequel ‘Independence Day: Resurgence’ Smith has been replaced by the fresh-faced Jessie Usher who steps in to lead the project.

Today, Usher joins his co-stars Vivica A. Fox and Jeff Goldblum to release its epic trailer before its June 24th 2016 with the help of a $200 million budget and cinematography by Markus Förderer.

Serena Williams has made history slaying tennis courts the world over and now she’s taking the same approach with her magazine covers.

The bat swinging icon appears a-front of Sports Illustrated‘s newest cover – celebrating her title of “sportsperson of the year.”

It’s an honor more than deserved; for, despite losing out on the much-touted Grand Slam, the 34-year-old nabbed a number of wins this year, including the Wimbledon championship this Summer.
