Gliding over independent seas is the R&B songbird Lyrica Anderson, now celebrating the release of her latest body of work ‘Hello.’

Unfamiliar with the singer’s work? Impossible. The TGJ favourite co-wrote Beyonce‘s ‘Rocket‘ and has seen her fan base inflate following the release of her ‘King Me’ EPs which caught the attention of ‘Royalty’ singer Chris Brown who features on her new project.

Today, that release lands on digital ground and is now available to spin below.

Despite being just 24-years old, JoJo has endured career highs and lows well beyond her years.

Indeed, after a meteoric rise following the release of her debut album (which she unleashed aged 12), the ascent came to a screeching halt following her 2006 sophomore set ‘The High Road.’

As widely reported, the seven years that followed saw her literally unable to sell new music until she won a legal battle with former label Blackground in 2013.

Liberated and with a new label home at Atlantic Records, the songbird is back and has hatched three new songs as part of an innovative “tringle” roll-out.

As British boybands go, few achieved the level of success or omnipresence of JLS.

Two years on from the group’s split, its members are aiming to make a similar mark solo.

Lead vocalist Aston Merrygold is spearheading the charge after signing with Warner Bros and releasing debut solo single ‘Get Stupid’ earlier this Summer.

Well received critically, the track didn’t necessarily set the charts ablaze and peaked at #28 on home soil.

Undeterred, the dynamic performer – who has named his upcoming album ‘Show Stopper’ – snagged a slot on ‘The Late Late Show With James Corden’  last night and was sure to show up and show out.

Anticipation for Justin Bieber‘s new album continues to build as fans are just two weeks away from getting their hands and ears on Canadian crooner’s latest effort.

Titled ‘Purpose,’ the project – preceded by singles ‘Sorry,’ ‘Where Are U Now,’ and the #1 hit ‘What Do You Mean’ – is set for a November 13th release and already expected to make a grand premiere on the Billboard 200 upon its arrival.

But, before fans are able to make that prediction a reality, Bieber took to Instagram to offer his beloved Beliebers a slow reveal of the 19-track affair chock full of guest appearances from the likes of Ariana Grande, Big Sean, Kanye West, and so many more.

Does ‘Sausage’ performer Lil Mama have beef with Nicki Minaj?  After a recent interview with our buds at VladTV, we can say the answer is a definite…umm…maybe.
