Leona Lewis is on the comeback trail and aims to blaze with scorching new single ‘Fire.’

The Toby Gadd production is the lead release from the vocalist’s new album ‘I Am.’

As reported, the fiercely anticipated set marks Lewis’ first studio effort for new label Island/Def Jam – her recording home since departing Simon Cowell’s Syco last summer.

With ‘Fire’ believed to be due imminently, Camp Leona are igniting the flames with a newly released promo video.

The digital short sees the powerhouse open up about her refreshed perspective and includes a brand new snippet of the song we’re all waiting for.

Last December saw the rapper announce his third album ‘2014 Forest Hills Drive’ with minimal notice and no preceding songs.

In the time since, he’s followed with left-field singles and videos – the latest being ‘Wet Dreamz.’

With Rihanna‘s new album still nowhere to be found, impatient fans have been flocking to other artists.

Hoping to reel them back in, the 27-year-old has employed her tried and tested means of courting attention – stripping.

The Bajan sensation showcases her particulars a-front of V Magazine‘s Summer 2015 issue. Ms. Fenty’s latest distraction tactic even came with an obligatory new wig.

Offering a morsel of info on her (thus far) poorly received new music, the model mused:

“My eighth studio album was a place for me to completely express myself creatively with no boundaries and try anything I wanted.”

Is it us or is someone slowly deviating from her initial claim of aiming to create “timeless music” this go round? To be fair, we would too after ‘Bitch Better Have My Money.’

Kelly Rowland may be gearing up to front her very own BET show, but that hasn’t halted the recording of her fifth studio album.

The ‘Motivation’ maven was snapped in the studio with hitmaker Polow Da Don this week, presumably working on material for the follow-up to 2013’s ‘Talk A Good Game.’

Rowland’s sophomore effort, ‘Ms. Kelly,’ was the last time the pair teamed up; Polow produced its lead single ‘Like This.’

With the singer angling for a more “uptempo” sound this go round and Polow renowned for his versatility, we’re eager to hear what they’ve been cooking up.

Wiz Khalifa‘s ‘See You Again’ has done far more than top the UK and US singles chart this month.

For, as it blocks Mark Ronson‘s and  Bruno Mars‘ ‘Uptown Funk‘ from spending another week atop the Billboard Hot 100, the song has earned the record for scoring the most plays in one day on the music streaming service Spotify.
