Another day, another Chris Brown Twitter battle.

The weekend’s headlines have been run over by the ‘Run It’ singer’s very public battle with ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran – a vehicle fueled by Brown alleging that the Instagram model had “banged Drake.”

‘Shawty’ rapper Plies appeared to be no fan of the shenanigans and quickly took to social media to lend his two cents.  Tuck in below to see his statement and Chris’s swift and fiery response:

It’s that time of year again!

Indeed, the weekend brought with it the 2015 Grammy nominations unveiled, as per usual, of a nomination special weeks before the actual showing.  But, what also comes with the ‘per usual’ showing are the jaw-dropping surprises, snubs, and all out “shut-outs” that accompany the annual spectacle.

Always a heated debate-starter, the coveted tally saw the likes of Trey Songz, Lana Del Rey, Justin Bieber, Jason Derulo, Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez,  and Michael Jackson all go without mention.

For Bieber, whose manager made headlines for his rant regarding his 2013 Grammy shutout, this would be a third-go-round despite consistently clocking some of the year’s biggest hits.

Tuck in below for a list of other surprises and snubs:

Contestant Fleur East earned praise aplenty during last night’s semi-final episode, after rocking the house with a dynamite performance of Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson‘s newest number ‘Uptown Funk’.

Released to iTunes immediately following, the track has done what no song this season has managed to do.

Fifth Harmony brought their fire-filled brand of girl power to The X Factor UK stage tonight.

The group, who were formed on the US incarnation of the show in 2012, turned in a scorching hot performance of ‘Bo$$’ – the lead single from their debut album ‘Reflection’ (due January 26th).

With the music industry becoming more glo-calised by the day, we salute the ladies for embracing the international market so early in their narrative. And, as at writing, it’s paying off. Because ‘Bo$$’ has leaped into the top ten of the iTunes UK count, where it currently sits at #9.

After a lengthy break on the bench, ‘TGJ Replay’ is back!

Designed much like our ‘Retro Rewind’ and ‘From the Vault’ features, ‘Replay’ is That Grape Juice‘s newest retrospective segment – a written quest, if you will, to re-spin the gems and jams of yesterday.

Unlike its ‘Rewind’ and ‘Vault’ predecessors, ‘Replay’ looks to dust off and showcase entire albums (and eras) from a library of pop and Urban pop music hits.

As this month brings with it the 19th anniversary of ‘You Put a Move on My Heart’ – the triumphant debut single of one of R&B’s brightest unsung starlets, Tamia, we are going to ode the official LP that birthed it. From Quincy Jones compilation album ‘Q’s Jook Joint’ to ‘Tamia’ the album…read all about its delivery below:

Continuing on her in bid to be taken seriously as a “hip and happening” bad girl is Disney star Zendaya, the entertainer originally tapped to portray the late ‘Aaliyah’ in her ‘Lifetime‘ biopic.

Alas, while fellow children’s TV star Ariana Grande built her “cool” on stellar material and faultless vocals with relative ease, Ms. Coleman is still yet to find relevant footing on ground outside of Disney‘s front door.

The answer to her branding problem? Good music.

What she decided to do to score a few cool points?

Much like the iconic Panic Attack” scene in the comedy ‘Airplane‘, it seems every one and their mom waits in line to lay one on Rap superstar Iggy Azalea.

For, after being called racist and self-absorbed by ‘Salon’s Sonia Saraiya, the ‘Beg For It’ lyricist has now seen her ethics thrown into disrepute by ‘Hollywood Stars’ rapper Gangsta Boo, who has accused the rapper of “paying for awards.”

This, after DeadMau5 mocked her ability as a rapper and after her ex ‘Interscope’ sister Azealia Banks slammed her for racially charged remarks she made before the release of her hit single ‘Fancy.’
