Armed with her ever-present handbag Melissa, the model shared a number of shots of herself soaking up the blazing heat.

Perhaps the break will offer some much needed inspiration for this elusive #R8 project of hers.

Christmas 2014 may be in our rearview, but it appears Chingy is still gleaming over the gift of resurrection bestowed to his biggest hit via the viral #Christmaschallenge.

Kicked off by R&B bad boy Chris Brown, the visual challenge sees participants upload videos of themselves dancing to the rapper’s 2003 smash ‘Right Thurr.’  Taking to Instagram, the St. Louis native’s merry Christmas quickly turned into a scary Christmas after fans began slamming him for “excessive praise” of the impact the song had during its early 2000s reign on charts.

Attaching words and phrases like “legendary,” “changed the world,” and “greatness” to ‘Thurr,’ read Chingy’s now-deleted social media speech from last night that led many to lend a collective side-eye:

After a lengthy break on the bench, ‘TGJ Replay’ is back!

Designed much like our ‘Retro Rewind’ and ‘From the Vault’ features, ‘Replay’ is That Grape Juice‘s latest retrospective segment to act as a written quest, if you will, to re-spin the gems and jams of yesterday.  Unlike its ‘Rewind’ and ‘Vault’ predecessors, ‘Replay’ looks to dust off and showcase entire albums (and eras) from a library of pop and Urban pop music hits.

As this month brings with it the 8th anniversary of the ‘Dreamgirls’ motion picture soundtrack, we thought there would be no better time than the present to ode this amazing collection of new and revamped tunes.  Tuck in below for more on one of the most celebrated soundtracks of all time…

Since blazing onto the scene with Summer scorcher ‘2 On’, R&B star Tinashe has proved that she knows how to work a stage.

And by the looks of it, she’s skilled at werk-ing a camera too.

The singer, whose debut album ‘Aquarius’ was released to rave reviews back in October, continues the promotional push for the project within the pages of Ladygunn Magazine.

Regina Hall is the leading lady in the ‘Lifetime Original Movie‘ ‘With This Ring’ this year, gearing up for its January 24th 2015 release date this week!

Also starring Jill Scott, Eve and ‘Deliver Us From Eva’ actress Gabrielle Union, the movie sees Hall play a career-driven talent agent on the hunt for true love, making a pact with her pals to get married within the year.

However, the ladies soon find that’s easier said than done.

Are B2K on the brink of a comeback?

Three members of the former teen group were snapped laughing it up in Los Angeles this week.

Omarion shared the shot on Instagram, which ignited ample discussion on his page. Perusal of the comments suggests fans would readily welcome a reunion of the ‘Post To Be’ singer with J-Boog and Lil Fizz – who along with with fellow member Raz B – went their separate ways in 2004.

Naturally, the absence of Raz set tongues a’wagging. However, we imagine the “tapes” he’s making these days may not align well with his former bandmates individual or collective brands.

Hit Georgian talent contest ‘Erti Ertshi‘ paid tribute to Beyonce recently, celebrating the star’s work through a performance put on by contestant Liza Kenia.

Pulling from the star’s 2011 performance on ‘X Factor France‘ and her set on the very last episode of ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show‘, Kenia rocked the show with a live serving of ‘Run the World‘, pulled from Bey’s fourth studio album ‘4.’

Did she do the Queen Bey justice?

It may have debuted at the 251,000 mark in the US, but Nicki Minaj‘s ‘The Pinkprint’ has failed to soar as high in international skies this week, moving less than 45,000 units outside of her domestic market.

Though doing very little to shake her status as the world’s highest selling female rapper, global sales of her new album were so low that she failed to crack the Top Ten in Australia, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Ireland and Germany, where it debuted at #69.

Fortunately, it wasn’t all bad news for the performer.

Elijah Blake lends his voice to a good cause this year, speaking out against the murders of African-American men Mike Brown & Eric Garner with the song ‘We Are One.’

Released earlier this week, the clip sees Blake take to the streets of Los Angeles to walk among peaceful protesters hoping to bring about change with the message ‘Black Lives Matter.’
