As reported, Ciara has been gearing up for her wedding to fiance Future by being photographed by Brides Magazine.

The singer and new mother was joined by E! on the set of the shoot, and sat down with them to discuss how she and the ‘Move That Dope’ MC became more than friends.

During the brief but sweet interview, the stage commander even shed a tear as she recalled the poignant moment when all “changed”.

Brandy has been maintaining a low profile of late as she commences work on her upcoming new album. However, the singer/actress briefly broke from her hiatus to stop by BET’s new talk-show ‘Just KeKe’.

The Vocal Bible surprised host and friend KeKe Palmer during the ‘Throwback Thursday’ segment, using the visit dish on her classic sitcom ‘Moesha’, as well as her current role on BET’s ‘The Game’.

Controversial rapper Azealia Banks appears to have been given the break she’s been longing for.

For, after a series of album delays, soured collaborations, and twisted Twitter infamy,  it looks like femcee’s label are ready to cut their losses and release her from their roster.

Should be “bad”, right?

Perhaps. For most artists. After all, Banks’ label Interscope are one of the most successful major label entities in the world.

However, recent months have seen the rapper vent her frustrations with her predicament – which most (regardless of their stance on her) would describe as “unfulfilled potential”.

Now, some two years after breakout hit ‘212’ rocked the industry, the sharp-tongued New Yorker took to Twitter today to declare her independence.

We are getting closer and closer to Lifetime’s controversial biopic of late pop icon Whitney Houston.

Directed by Academy Award-nominated actress and longtime friend of Houston’s Angela Bassett, the film is moving full speed ahead despite a very public slamming from the Grammy winner’s troubled daughter Bobbi Kristina (read more on that here).

From a viewer perspective, on the other hand, the film seems to have the green light from fans.  This feat was all the more confirmed when news surfaced that ‘America’s Next Top Model’ contestant Yaya DaCosta was cast to portray the powerhouse songstress in the forthcoming flick.

Having achieved ample success on the big screen, Halle Berry is tasting the rewards of the small screen too with new show ‘Extant’.

The ambitious series, which follows the life of an infertile astronaut who returns to earth pregnant after a year long stint in space, kicked off on CBS yesterday and commanded a large audience in the process.

‘NFL‘ athlete Michael Sam finds a friend in ‘Out’ magazine this year, teaming up with the LGBTQ publication for a spread which sought to shed light on his life since he revealed that he was gay.

Unveiled before the arrival of ‘OWN’ Reality TV series, Sam’s time with the outlet brought with it talk of the NFL’s response to him since his “outing” and the media’s response to the kiss he shared with boyfriend Vito Cammisano after he was drafted on-camera.

Sherri Shepherd made a tearful return to ‘The View‘ this week, heading back to the show for its first live episode since announcing her departure, here.

Set to exit the show alongside co-host Jenny McCarthy, Shepherd addressed her parting with the show with a little help from moderator Whoopi Goldberg, and an audience surprised to learn that she had planned to leave before bidding adieu to Barbara Walters, who retired from the series earlier this year.
