The divas of Devious Maids are back for a second round of drama-filled antics.

Conceived by Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry and executive produced by Eva Longoria, the spicy dramedy follows the lives of five maids who work for the wealthy residents of Beverly Hills.

With the both workers and their bosses housing a host of secrets, season 2 of the hit Lifetime series promises to be its most scandalous yet.

Shalamar‘s classic 80’s hit ‘A Night To Remember’ gets a royal revamp courtesy of Queen of Hip Hop Soul Mary J. Blige.

A funky affair decorated with clips from the film ‘Think Like A Man Too,’ starring Kevin Hart, Gabrielle Union, and more, the song is one of 14 lifted from the official soundtrack of the same name.  Led by the Queen herself, with help from Pharrell, the Dream, and others, the tune’s parent album is due in stores tomorrow (June 17th).

Fans will definitely say yes when they cop a gander at Destiny’s Child reuniting once more affront the video for Michelle Williams’ latest single ‘Say Yes’.

The latest mile marker to Williams’ highly anticipated fourth album ‘Journey To Freedom,’ the song’s official video earned a few waved hands and “hallelujahs” when it was teased days after the song hit the net.

Much to the exasperation of Beyonce‘s beloved #Beyhive, Grammy-nominated songstress Syleena Johnson dared to compare Blue Ivy‘s hair to that of late rapper Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s.  The move may have resulted in a quite a few stings from the fan group, as seen here, but the ‘Angry Girl’ singer reveals that she has taken it all in stride.

Maintaining her stance on the little one’s hair, Johnson was recently interviewed on a red carpet where she did at least profess her love for Bey and child. This, of course, not without standing her ground and passing a few jokes along the way.

Fellow R&B diva India.Arie is not a fan of people making fun of Blue’s hair (read her open letter slamming critics here), but the ‘All Falls Down’ diva is not willing to back down to ‘computer thugs.’ Read her comments below:

After Syleena Johnson‘s woeful weigh in and news of a Change.org petition to comb Blue Ivy‘s hair went viral, India.Arie says “enough is enough” – at least as it relates to people’s constant jabs to Beyonce‘s famous toddler’s locks.

Taking to Twitter to pen an open letter slamming critics who have lent negative comments about the child, the ‘I Am Not My Hair’ hitmaker was so upset that she assembled a fiery collection of words to scold fellow celebs and fans alike on the topic.

Cop a gander of Chris Brown!

The R&B crooner is wasting no time getting back to business following a much publicised spell in the slammer for violating his probation.

And while news of C. Breezy’s return to the studio will bring warmth to his legion of loyal fans, his choice of collaboration perhaps won’t.

Legally laden singer Justin Bieber posted the shot above of him and Brown in the studio together on Instagram moments ago, adding the caption:

Studio, me and CB did 1 for the fans.

Meh.

On a relatively random note; is anyone else puzzled as to why the Urban artist community have welcomed Bieber with such open arms? Surely the allure of his charting power wanes with every new drama and his efforts to evoke “hip” are all flavours of contrived. Odd.

The X Factor UK charges back onto the box this Summer and promises to be quite the “must-see”.

In looking to ensure that’s more than editorial rhetoric, the show’s producers have refreshed the judges panel – welcoming back creator Simon Cowell and Pop force Cheryl Cole (following their initial departure in 2010). Completing the 2014 line-up is Scary Spice Mel B, who replaces Nicole Scherzinger, and sole original Louis Walsh.

Though set to start airing in August, the ITV1 show saw its first filmed auditions take place today in Manchester – hence the first photo opp for the new panel.

Looking good. Here’s hoping their critiques pack an equally enticing punch. Because, there exists ample irony in the fact (yes, fact), that the two “singers” on the panel struggle with the first four letters of that very word. We do love Mel, though. Who doesn’t?!
