Tomorrow brings with it the US debut of Halle Berry‘s critically acclaimed movie ‘Frankie & Alice’.

The film, which was originally released in Canada alone back in 2010, re-tells the narrative of Frankie – an American go-go dancer with a mental disorder. Inspired by a true-life story, the movie relays her struggles to remain her true self while fighting against two alter egos: a seven-year-old child named “Genius” and a Southern white racist  “Alice.”

In building on the picture’s buzz, Berry sat down with Extra to discuss the role, as well as motherhood, and her upcoming TV show ‘Extant’ (directed by Steven Spielberg).

Hip-Hop titan Drake continues the stream of new music with fresh offering ‘Days In The East’.

Released moments ago via the star’s official Sound Cloud page, the track follows the much debated ‘Draft Day’.

Produced by Drizzy’s right hand man Noah ’40’ Shebib, the song was initially performed during the Birmingham, England stop of the rapper’s ‘Would You Like A Tour?’ tour.

For, after announcing her engagement to Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Carl Crawford, the star- formerly engaged/married to athletes Antoine Walker and Chad Johnson– now finds herself being billed a financial leech by many a Pop culture spectator.

Their criticism of her?

Her seemingly strategic effort to stay financially afloat by “trapping” sports stars with marriage and/or babies, whom said athletes are legally obliged to provide for.

Following a flurry of false starts, it appears Mariah Carey is finally ready to unwrap her 14th studio album.

The as-yet-untitled set, which has thus far spawned four “lead singles” (only one of which was a moderate hit), had been announced for a May 6th release. Yet, with promotion having ceased for its latest offering ‘You’re Mine (Eternal)’, strong doubt was cast on whether the LP would indeed be arriving next month.

However, the speculation seemed to be laid to rest last night when Carey and manager Jermaine Dupri hosted an exclusive album playback in New York.
