Following a flurry of false starts, it appears Mariah Carey is finally ready to unwrap her 14th studio album.
The as-yet-untitled set, which has thus far spawned four “lead singles” (only one of which was a moderate hit), had been announced for a May 6th release. Yet, with promotion having ceased for its latest offering ‘You’re Mine (Eternal)’, strong doubt was cast on whether the LP would indeed be arriving next month.
However, the speculation seemed to be laid to rest last night when Carey and manager Jermaine Dupri hosted an exclusive album playback in New York.

She looks nice! I like the look she put together for the occasion. Funny how “Melt Away” was mentioned, I was actually listening to that song earlier this week. It’s 1 of my favorite MC songs (along with WBT, Shake It Off, Underneath the Stars, Breakdown, Anytime You Need A Friend & my all time MC favorite – Always Be My Baby). I’m not a fan of her recent stuff (or of MC in general), but I faithfully return back to those classic songs every so often. It’s some of the best music you can experience.

I can´t wait!!! Mariah delivers musically regardless of everything. It will be the first album I buy this year (last year I only purchased five).
That injure was really serious. I mean, she still covers her hand. I think she can´t do what she did a year ago for #beautiful and lose some weigth because she still can´t move or do exercise like she could before. Probably it is some permanent damage at this point. She looks great anyway.
