As the world waits with bated breath for news on Beyonce‘s new album, the superstar singer has revealed that her ‘Mrs Carter Show’ will officially continue into 2014.

King B’s official Facebook page posted the shot above seconds ago, confirming that the blockbuster tour will return to Europe for a fresh set of concerts – kicking off on February 20th.

Dates haven’t yet been announced, but what is certain is that confirmation that the tour will extend into the New Year will renew debate about when exactly new Bey material will be released.

Though unconfirmed, the assumption is that the as yet untitled set (the recording of which has been shrouded in secrecy) will arrive early 2014. Touring in February makes one wonder if that’ll be the case, and if so, what exactly the 32-year-old has up her sleeve to manage being on the road while plugging a record? A ‘New Rules’ esque campaign? So many questions and yet so few answers.

As jarring as the wait has been, it’s all quite exciting, isn’t it? Needless to say, the next few weeks and months should be uber interesting.

Update: The show dates have been revealed. Check them out below…

‘Marry Me’ maestro Jason Derulo is enjoying quite the success on this side of the pond after launching multiple numbers from his latest album ‘Tattoos’ to hit status on official charts.

Now, after unveiling the steamy video for the tune ‘Trumpets’, the stage-blazer takes off on yet another promo run in support of the tune – the latest coming in the form of a visit to BBC Radio 1’s ‘Live Lounge’.

As is common affair there, Derulo lent a live version of his own song as well as an acoustic cover.  His pick?  2013 mega-hit ‘Royals’ by newcomer Lorde.

How did he fare?  You tell us?

Joining the likes of stars Robin Thicke, Jason Derulo, Jennifer Hudson, Enrique Iglesias, Capital Cities, Daughtry, and The Fray, Grande’s appearance on the show will be apart of the ‘West coast’ segment.

The New York-city based bash, hosted by Ryan Seacrest, will be aired on ABC.

Call him crazy but…

Genius is genius, says music critics at highly revered publications TiME, Rolling Stones, and Entertainment Weekly.  For, as the ‘year-end’ tallies come rolling in, the aforementioned three have unanimously championed Kanye West‘s 2013 release ‘Yeezus’ as the album of the year.

Beating out the likes of Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake, and mentor Jay Z, the news comes just as fans complained of the Recording Academy’s overlook of the critically acclaimed set only giving it 2 nominations (“New Slaves” for Best Rap Song and “Yeezus” for Best Rap Album).

Elsewhere on the list, you can spot Katy Perry, Rihanna, Lorde, and more.  Ready to sound off?

The secret at the 2013 Victoria Secret Show certainly was not the absence of Urban Pop acts as it was alarmingly clear after riveting performances from the likes of Taylor Swift, Fall Out Boy, and more saw credits roll.

That, however (to some), did not make the showing any less enjoyable.

Some acts don’t require smash singles to sell an album. Britney Spears, however, isn’t one of them.

Prior to its release this week, the star’s latest effort ‘Britney Jean’ had failed to generate hits with lead singles ‘Work B*tch’ and ‘Perfume’. Yet, despite this, industry analysts and fans alike seemed agree that the LP would (at least) sell on the strength of the singer’s name. Something it’s arguably gone on to do, but with numbers that register as the lowest debut figures of Spears’ illustrious career.

Details after the jump…

It’s finally here!

The official visual for ‘Perfume’ – the second single from Britney Spears’ 8th studio album ‘Britney Jean’ – made its triumphant debut to VEVO just moments ago.

An album billed the singer’s ‘most personal to date’, ‘Perfume’ reportedly shines as one of the set’s best vocal performances.  With days of teasers leading up to this moment, was it worth the hype and the wait?
