With Britney Spears‘ new single ‘Perfume’ in free-fall on the charts, the video shoot for the track has come right on time.

After (not quite) working up a storm in this Summer’s ‘Work B*tch’ visual, the Pop force returns to the desert for her latest clip – which is the second to be lifted from upcoming album ‘Britney Jean’.

The singer has tapped dynamo director Joseph Kahn for vid, which -at this point- is the only thing that can save the song from its dismal run. Time will tell.

While album sales have and will always hold more weight than single sales, the last decade has birthed acts who have seen their singles make quite a pretty profit for their supporting labels- by way of deals that see these companies take a sizeable piece of those artists commercial pies.

So, one doesn’t have to wonder why Peter Edge‘s ‘RCA Records’ now hold Pitbull in high regard, despite his inability to replicate his Hot 100 success story on the Billboard 200.

For, thanks to his Dance dominated discography, the Pop emcee has now seen sales of his single fist pump past the 40 million mark!

As two of music’s most noted icons, Michael Jackson and Janet Jackson have been the subject of many a tribute.

The latest comes courtesy of one of this generation’s greatest talents – Christina Aguilera.

Diva Xtina took to the stage on last night’s episode of ‘The Voice’ in support of the Team she coaches. Together, the trio performed a high-octane medley of Jackson classics including Janet’s ‘Black Cat’, MJ’s ‘Bad’, and the sibling’s 1995 chart-topping collaboration ‘Scream’.

As 2013 draws to a close we are sure to see an onslaught of “year-end” lists hit the net.

And, while such lists are always debate-spurring, it seems those based on factual data are the ones that really get tongues wagging. The latest to affirm this notion would be Forbes’ yearly ‘Highest Paid Musicians’ tally which sees ‘Queen of Pop’ Madonna reign yet again.

Trouncing the likes of Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Justin Bieber, and more, the Material Girl’s year was billed with the likes of a top-selling ‘MDNA’ tour, merchandise sales, and more.  But, even her reign was granted on a technicality.

Having blazed straight to the top of the Billboard Digital Songs tally with ‘Say Something’, A Great Big World and Christina Aguilera have debuted the single’s accompanying video.

Diva Xtina serves as the guest on the track, which has thrust the little-known Indie Pop outfit into the spotlight.

Presently siting at #16 on the Billboard Hot 100, will the visual help boost the song on the chart? You be the judge after the jump…

She has already ‘Roar’-ed onto charts with the 3x Platinum-selling lead single of her latest album ‘Prism’, but now Pop force Katy Perry is readying (what she hopes will be) an equally successful follow-up with the cinematic video for ‘Unconditionally’.

The Dr Luke produced cut, which has thus far peaked at #21 on the Billboard Hot 100, sees its Brent Bonacorso-directed accompanying visual visit familiar territory for the pop princess – dramatic and graphically intense.

We’ve shown you the preview here, but was it worth the wait?  You tell us.  Watch below:

Kelly Rowland‘s flirtation with EDM in 2010 yielded chart smashes such as ‘Commander’ and ‘When Love Takes Over’. It’s little surprise, then, that the singer re-embraces the sound on her new collaboration with Pitbull.

Christened ‘That High’, the track appears on the dance-floor titan’s latest album ‘Global Warming: Meltdown’ – which hits stores on November 25th.

With the release around the corner, the LP -which also features Ke$ha, Jennifer Lopez, and Mohombi – has officially been made available to stream.

The past weekend saw the opening of ‘The Best Man Holiday’ (Taye Diggs, Morris Chestnut) – the long awaited sequel to the hit film ‘The Best Man’ – wow critics and audiences alike.

Raking in over $30 million for its premiere weekend, the showing at the box office surpassed expectations in a grand way.  So much so, apparently, that Universal Studios is already in talk with the film’s director Malcolm D. Lee to write and direct another installment of the hit romantic comedy.

While the negotiations are just “in talks” right now, word has it the follow-up would be expected much sooner than the 14-year gap between parts 1 and 2 of the film.  No word on if all members of the cast can be expected for the next installment.

Beyond the bevy of global hits he’s written, The-Dream is renowned for serving up many a controversial quote.

However, the star’s candor is equally refreshing when simply sharing his thoughts on the industry he’s come to dominate.

During a recent interview with our friends over at Vlad TV, the singer-songwriter waxed honest on working with Ciara (the pair last teamed up on 2010’s ill-fated ‘Basic Instinct’), as well as his thoughts on the lack of powerhouse vocalists in R&B and more.
