Following a digital assault on the computer systems Sony Pictures Entertainment saw a number of emails sent by its staff surface online.

Much to the surprise of fans of the fictional character James Bond one email between two executives revealed that the Black British actor Idris Elba was one of many actors being considered to take on the role once Daniel Craig cuts ties with the character.

Today, a Bond author Anthony Horowitz has revealed that he feels Elba is incapable of playing the character “rough” and “street” for the role.

New music isn’t the only treat Rihanna has in store for her fans this year.

Yesterday saw the ‘Music of the Sun’ vocalist make her way to New York City to launch her latest fragrance ‘RIRI’ which nabbed its very own launch event at Macy‘s.

The star dropped the scent with the forthcoming holiday season in mind and posed for pictures with its bottle before meeting with fans who caught her live in promotional action.

Hip-Hop titan Kanye West is the latest name to receive MTV‘s coveted ‘Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.’

The rapper was ironically presented with the honor by Taylor Swift – the star whose name he arguably blasted into the stratosphere when interrupting her winning speech in 2009.

Unlike previous winners Justin Timberlake and Beyonce, Yeezy did not perform at the event – which took place at the Microsoft Theater. Instead, in true “Kanye” fashion, he gave a spirited 13 minute speech.

In an interview with ‘The New York Times’ Pop purveyor Miley Cyrus used her position as the host of this year’s MTV Video Music Awards to accuse the rapper Nicki Minaj of being an unkind and irrational person.

Why? Last month saw Minaj take to social media to lambast the media for it’s supposed problem with “spicy” music videos when led by fuller figured women of colour.

Miley didn’t agree with her and held nothing back when she weighed in on the matter here.

So there’s no doubt that her fans were surprised when she had all of nothing to say when Minaj confronted her…on live television.

What happened when the rapper called her out as she accepted the ‘Best Hip Hop Video’ award for her ‘Anaconda’ visual at the aforementioned awards ceremony.
