With Nicki Minaj‘s US tour on the back-burner until 2019, the femcee is throwing more time into plugging new album ‘Queen.’

‘Ellen’ was her latest stop and Onika made sure to make it count.

During her candid chat with the talk-show host, Minaj expanded on her gripe with Travis Scott – who she infamously claimed scammed his way to #1 (bumping her to #2) by bundling his album with merchandise.

On the drama, she said:

“I’ve had a #2  [album] and I never cared. It’s just that when you have a #2 album to someone who’s selling shirts and merch and selling passes for a tour that has not even announced yet; it feels like you’re being tricked. It feels like someone is playing a game as opposed to just selling music. I want to sell music.”

Elsewhere, she spoke about her lovers – old and new, and performed a ‘Queen’ medley comprised of  ‘Barbie Dreams,’ ‘Ganja Burn,’ and 6ix9ine collab ‘Fefe.’

Nicki, who’s long been an advocate for education, also spread good cheer by teaming with Ellen to help fans pay their student costs.

All the action awaits after the jump…

Last fall Azealia Banks stunned fans when she took to social media to pose a truce with one-time nemesis Nicki Minaj (who accepted the offer).  To the surprise of…well…no one, that lasted all of 8-9 months before Banks began taking shots at the Harajuku Barbie again by accusing of her plagiarism (click here to read that).

Now, the ‘Big Big Beat’ beauty is joining the multitude who are taking aim at Minaj for the song ‘Fefe,’ her recent collaboration with rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine.  The problem?  6ix9ine, currently recuperating from a widely reported beatdown (click here to read about that), is battling claims that he included a child in a number of sex acts.

After receiving a damning reprimand from ‘Forbes’ magazine (click here to read), Minaj also got quite the tongue lashing from Banks – who claims she’s now ‘deleting her Barb membership.’  Read it inside:

Death threats, public shaming, and the sharing of his personal and family’s information online are the result of a Wisconsin man’s battle with #Barbz after he labelled their leader a ‘hypocrite.’

Before the melee, the ‘Chun-Li’ creator Nicki Minaj herself came out swinging at the Twitter user who slammed  her for what he deemed a ‘hypocritical’ stance on female sexuality, a topic she brought to the forefront of her recent sitdown with ‘Elle’ magazine when she weighed in on promiscuity and prostitution.

Also acting as covergirl of the mag’s most recent edition, Minaj said:

“Maybe I was naïve, but I didn’t realize how many girls were modern-day prostitutes,” she begins. “Whether you’re a stripper, or whether you’re an Instagram girl—these girls are so beautiful and they have so much to offer. But I started finding out that you give them a couple thousand dollars, and you can have sex with them. I was like, Yikes. It’s just sad that they don’t know their worth. It makes me sad as a woman. And it makes me sad that maybe I’ve contributed to that in some way.”

The address didn’t exactly sit well with many detractors, some of whom pointed to the Grammy nominee’s sexually explicit lyrics as grounds for billing her comments as duplicitous. One such commenter, who took his thoughts directly to Minaj’s Twitter page as we mentioned aboe, may have been surprised to not only see her clap back but do so in a fiery way.  Did you miss any of the action? Nicki Minaj‘s devoted fan base, affectionately called ‘Barbz,’ have made no secret of their approval of the femcee’s latest singles, ‘Barbie Tingz’ and ‘Chun Li.’  Hoisting the latter to a top 10 perch on this week’s Billboard Hot 100 (as we reported here), the cut – her 16th run in the chart’s highest dectet of positions –  helped Minaj kick her way into history books by extending her already lengthy lead of ‘most top 10 entries by a female rapper.’  Add to this, the tunes’ respective entries on the chart assisted with tightening her grip on the title of ‘most chart placements by a female act in history (of any genre).’

Despite the applause of her fans, there’s one of her (former) supporters who is none-too-impressed:  ex-boyfriend Safaree Samuels.  The rapper, who lent his pen to a number of Minaj’s more memorable hits, hasn’t exactly been in favor of a number of the song’s she’s produced since the dissolution of their professional and romantic relationship; ‘Barbie Tingz’ and ‘Chun Li’ are the latest to feel his disapproval.

Taking to ‘Big Boy’s Neighborhood,’ Samuels shared his thoughts on the songs as well as weighed in on her nemesis, rising rapstress Cardi B.  Tuck in to hear it all from his lips:

While recent headlines have seen the self-proclaimed Queen of Rap reign over headlines more for personal dramas than professional endeavors (see:  testifying at brother’s rape trial, backlash for asserting her position in “reintroducing female hip hop to the mainstream”), Nicki Minaj is still using her platform to highlight problems in the Hip Hop community that mesh the two realms of personal and professional.

Just two weeks after highlighting the absence of dominating female presences in the Hip Hop world, Minaj highlights her own personal struggles the top.  The biggest hurdle she’s had to overcome?  Sexism.  And, let the Grammy nominee tell it, it’s a battle she’s still having to fight…

Turn on those grills, because it’s officially beef!

Remy Ma is fed up with the subliminals and has come swinging at Nicki Minaj with new diss track ‘Shether.’

Clocking in at 7+ minutes, the track arrives after Onika served up two back-to-back verses seemingly sending for the ‘All The Way Up’ femcee.

…and the gloves are off!

Rapstress Rah Digga, best known for her work as part of the Busta Rhymes-led Flipmode Squad, hasn’t exactly seen her name atop headlines much over the past decade.  However, some timely shade thrown at current femcee phenom, Nicki Minaj, has certainly hoisted the 2000’s rapstress to the top of headlines for all the wrong reasons.

Indeed, after providing a not-so-subtle clapback to a fan who pitted the rapstresses against each other, Digga’s response was taken as a dig toward ongoing rumors that Safaree – Minaj’s ex-boyfriend of over a decade – was the ghost writer behind most of the Grammy nominee’s most memorable bars.

The result?  An ongoing Twitter dragging from Minaj’s dedicated fans, affectionately known as “Barbz”:

Twitter is refusing to give any slack to Iggy Azalea.

The rapstress, whose hiatus was fueled by incessant claims of cultural misappropriation and rumors or ghostwriters (among other slams), has re-emerged and ready to set fire to the comeback trail.  But, not even two weeks after unveiling her comeback tune ‘Team,’ it appears social media are teaming up, yet again, against the Aussie emcee.

This time the ‘Beg For It’ beauty may have asked for the trouble when she clapped back at her nemesis, Nicki Minaj, for that infamous BET Awards ‘ghostwriters’ diss:

It’s no question that pint size powerhouse Ariana Grande hit a slam dunk with her show-stopping halftime show at the 2015 NBA All Star game.

Wielding a slew of her chart-toppers, the young diva bounced her way from hit to hit via the 11 minute headlining set – much to the delight of her faithful #Arianators.

Critics, on the other hand, weren’t so pleased.

After tapping ‘Bang Bang’ co-star Nicki Minaj to join her on stage for last night’s showing, the ‘Problem’ songstress seems to have had quite a problem with naysayers who’ve weighed in on her assets (or lack thereof).

Taking to social media, read her lengthy rant below:

Iggy Azalea isn’t the only rapstress making headlines right now via Twitter.

Just moments ago ‘Moment 4 Life’ rapper Nicki Minaj lifted a series of cryptic tweets to her page detailing her attempt to foil a blackmail plan brought on by an undisclosed party.  Fans of the diva immediately began pointing fingers at her ex-boyfriend of 15 years Safaree Samuels.

This, of course, after the week saw the two recount painful memories of their extended time together.  Did you miss any of that action?  See it all below:
