The latest series of The X Factor UK continued in fine form tonight. With the Live Show segment of the season in full swing, the hopefuls are tasked on week 7 with pulling out all the stops to progress onto the next week. Judging the contestants are Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole, Mel B, and  Louis Walsh.

Thanks to healthy surge of sales and streaming (even in the absence of Spotify), the track blasts into the top 10’s upper ranking and threatens to dethrone the tally’s current champion – herself.

As ‘All About that Bass’ beauty Meghan Trainor holds onto the #2 spot for dear life, is there a chance Taylor will leap frog over the newcomer to shake up next week’s Hot 100 report?

The showrunner that is Shonda Rhimes continues to give ‘ABC’ cause to worship the creative ground she walks on this week, after three of her TV shows took the network to record breaking highs last night.

Watching the latest episode of her hit series ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ pull in 8.3 million viewers, it wasn’t long before the network learned that its younger sister ‘Scandal’ had captured the gaze of 10 million TV lovers while the thrilling ‘How To Get Away With Murder’ showed up the party with a record breaking 9.8 million.

‘Entertainment Weekly‘ reports:

ABC points out the network won all four Thursdays in the adult demo during the November “sweeps” period—which hasn’t happened for the ABC in at least 23 years. The block was also up 20 percent over last year.
