As reported, Pop royal Prince is making a beeline for the Billboard Music Awards 2013.

The Purple one is set to be honored with the Billboard Icon Award at the May 19th extravaganza and will also perform at the Las Vegas event.

So as to celebrate the feat ahead of the show, the 54 year old features on the latest cover of Billboard Magazine, who he also sat  down for an interview with (click here to read).

Randomness: Did you know Prince, Madonna, and Michael Jackson were all born within months of each other in the year 1958? Needless to say, their individual greatness continues to remain ever-present in today’s industry.

In many ways, Nicole Scherzinger has more  lives than Super Mario. For, despite a number of ill-fated solo efforts, the former Pussycat Doll continues to push on. Her most recent effort? ‘Boomerang’.

The lead release from the follow-up to her solo debut ‘Killer Love’, the track’s accompanying video was previewed today ahead of its release on Thursday.

Three weeks before she performs at the 55th annual Grammy Awards,  Rihanna hit West Hollywood on Sunday night to unwind at ‘Greystone Manor‘, later joined by ‘Wall To Wall‘ vocalist Chris Brown.

Hitting the venue one month before her 25th birthday, the ‘Let Me‘ singer was seen walking in and leaving alone some time after, while Brown was snapped leaving with a male friend as he readies the release of his sixth studio album, ‘Carpe Diem‘.

Soulful songstress Solange continues her European promo trip this week, most recently stopping by French TV show Le Grand Journal.
