Eric Bellinger is a very busy man.

Recently wrapping up work on Usher‘s latest LP ‘Looking For Myself‘, which saw him pen the Rick Ross assisted ‘Lemme See‘, today saw him jet to London– readying new material for ROC sensation Rihanna.

So, as long time supporters of the singer/songwriter, That Grape Juice had the pleasure of meeting with him at a London recording studio yesterday  for a rare sit down interview.

An interview, which saw him address his solo project, working on Kelly Rowland‘s long awaited new album and the pressures of being a writer in today’s industry.

Touchdown.

Urban actress Lauren London has scored in role in BET hit ‘The Game’ – and will be joining the show’s sixth season as a series regular.

London— whose acting gigs also include Madea’s Big Happy Family and Single Ladies – will play Kiera, a former child star who is currently appearing on a Cosby Show-esque sitcom.

According to TV Line, the show’s producers are also on the hunt for an actor to play an all-star running back. It is believed that both roles are intended to fill the void left by departing cast members Tia Mowry and Pooch Hall (Melanie and Derwin).

The Game returns next year, with regulars Wendy Raquel Robinson, Coby Bell, Hosea Chanchez, Brandy Norwood and Barry A. Floyd.

Interesting. However, one has to wonder where this leaves Pooch Hall, who has still been teasing involvement in the show – despite it being confirmed that he’s no longer returning.

Currently on her ‘Return Of The Queen‘ nightclub tour, her decision to tweet the pic prompted comments from Twitter uses slamming the act.

For, as living proof of the above, Lil Kim took to Texas hours ago to deliver her ‘Return Of The Queen‘ tour to Southern fans, dressed in a very telling glitter catsuit.

Sans her black cat and broomstick, the songbird’s set followed reviews by a number of outlets (including the LA Times) praising the tour’s creativity but slamming its production value.

Rihanna‘s last acting gig may have helped ‘Battleship’ sink something vicious at the US office. However, the so-so performance of that film hasn’t quelled the star’s movie ambitions.

For according to The Hollywood Reporter, the ‘S&M’ “singer” has signed on to star in Dreamworks’ new animated adventure ‘Happy Smekday!’

In ‘Smekday!’, a friendly alien race invades Earth and uses it as a hideout from their mortal enemy. When one lowly alien accidentally notifies the enemies of his whereabouts, he is forced to go on the run with a teenage girl, embarking on a comical road trip across a postapocalyptic America and learning what it really means to be human.

Kudos to “brand RiRi” for continuing to branch out. For, there’s only so long she can keep getting away with singing like that. Hence, it makes an abundance of sense to branch out while the going is good.
