Get into this snap of chart evader Lil Kim, rolling a blunt for her latest boyfriend ‘Mr Papers’.

Laying in dingy hotel room sporting a New York fitted, the alleged Queen was snapped in the act , and went onto tweet the image with the caption: Rolling My Baby’s Blunt.

Currently on her ‘Return Of The Queen‘ nightclub tour, her decision to tweet the pic prompted comments from Twitter uses slamming the act.

For, as living proof of the above, Lil Kim took to Texas hours ago to deliver her ‘Return Of The Queen‘ tour to Southern fans, dressed in a very telling glitter catsuit.

Sans her black cat and broomstick, the songbird’s set followed reviews by a number of outlets (including the LA Times) praising the tour’s creativity but slamming its production value.

Rihanna‘s last acting gig may have helped ‘Battleship’ sink something vicious at the US office. However, the so-so performance of that film hasn’t quelled the star’s movie ambitions.

For according to The Hollywood Reporter, the ‘S&M’ “singer” has signed on to star in Dreamworks’ new animated adventure ‘Happy Smekday!’

In ‘Smekday!’, a friendly alien race invades Earth and uses it as a hideout from their mortal enemy. When one lowly alien accidentally notifies the enemies of his whereabouts, he is forced to go on the run with a teenage girl, embarking on a comical road trip across a postapocalyptic America and learning what it really means to be human.

Kudos to “brand RiRi” for continuing to branch out. For, there’s only so long she can keep getting away with singing like that. Hence, it makes an abundance of sense to branch out while the going is good.

Although no stranger to dominating charts on her own, ‘Part Of Me’ maestra Katy Perry is reportedly ready to share a part of her success with a new generation of aspiring singers.  Chatting it up with (and playing cover star to) the latest issue of ‘The Hollywood Reporter’, Perry tells the magazine:

“I’m preparing for it now…And when this record label does come to fruition, I’m going to try and avoid the things that take away any fighting chance for an artist to have financial success.”

If Universal Music‘s plans to purchase EMI‘s recorded music department, the above (Katy Perry & Nicki Minaj) might just become label mates, marking one of the ‘grandest’ acquisitions to take place in label history.

However, in what many a critic saw coming a mile away, the European Competition Commission has objected to the deal, sending Universal a list of issues it has with the proposition.

A proposition, which will see Universal own 40% of  the industry’s recorded music market.
