The R&B belter is currently baking new material in the studio, which we hear she is gearing up to serve later this year.

It appears the mother of one is eager to mix and marry her musical efforts with her foray into fashion, if her new promotional video is anything to go by.

Taking to Instagram this weekend, Cole teased fans with a sneak peek at the latest range of her ‘Keyshia Cole By Steve Madden‘ shoe collection, which struts into Macy’s and Dillards this Summer. Beyond the still shots (more of which you can check out below), the ‘Trust & Believe’ songbird plugged the line with a brief clip that featured new music (from her upcoming new album?.

TV One hit R&B Divas: Atlanta returns for its third season outing next month.

With former staples Faith Evans and Nicci Gilbert having departed the show, two new additions slip into their vacant stiletto’s, Destiny’s Child original LaTavia Roberson and former 702 lead Meelah.

The duo join Syleena Johnson, Angie Stone, KeKe Wyatt, and Monifah for a season that promises to bring the music, the drama, and the LOL’s.

Taking to Facebook today, the ‘Dirty Laundry’ diva revealed a braided hairstyle, adding the caption: “changing it up”.

Liking the look. But more amped to hear new material. With X Factor out-of-the-way and few other female R&B projects  on the horizon, what time is better than the present to strike out with a new album campaign. A promo-heavy one at that.

After a brief rest on the bench, Cover Star returns this week and shines spotlight on the uniquely named songbird Amen Kelly.

The dedicated Rihanna fan (…) tackles one of the star’s biggest hits ‘Diamonds’. How does she fare? Hit ‘PLAY’ below to find out…

Impressive.

For all the justified critique levelled Rihanna’s way, it’s hard to deny that ‘Diamonds’ serves as one of her better performed songs. Hence, Amen’s rendition not only held its own in comparison to the original, it was rendered offered something new with the slower arrangement and fresh riffs and runs.

Nia Long steps out in style for ‘Essence’ magazine this year, rocking the cover of its April edition in support of new movie, ‘The Single Moms Club.’

Now available to purchase, Long’s spread in the mag sees her dish on her Tyler Perry– driven role in the movie, which sees her star alongside her 13 year old son who pens an open letter to the actress, thanking her for the role she plays in his life!

On him scoring a part in the film, she explained:

“I was so nervous Massai wouldn’t get the job. I didn’t want to have to break disappointing news, so I explained to him that as long as he gave it his best that’s all that mattered. I also told him that life has highs and lows, wins and losses. Just as I was saying all this, the phone rang. It was my agent with the good news. We did the happy dance and started packing our bags…”

Following a few false starts, Future is revving up the promotional machine for sophomore effort ‘Honest’.

Due later this year, the album follows 2012’s ‘Pluto’ and its subsequent re-release ‘Pluto 3D’ – which spawned hits such as ‘Neva End (ft. Kelly Rowland)’ and ‘Turn On The Lights’.

Set to feature collaborations from the likes of Nicki Minaj, Kanye West and Drake, the LP saw its latest single ‘Move That Dope (ft. Pharrell Williams & Pusha T)’ receive its video premiere this week.
