First thrilling Tinashe fans with a remix to her ‘Songs For You’ tune ‘Hopscotch’ (click here to hear it), R&B duo THEY. followed that with a reunion with the stage-blazing diva for their song, ‘Play Fight.’

Now, two weeks after first acquainting listeners with the retro R&B-inspired number (as we reported here), the Los Angeles-based beaus have lifted its official music video.

With typography reminiscent of that found aboard the early editions of the popular video game ‘Street Fighter,’ the clip sees THEY. (comprised of Dante Jones and Andrew “Drew Love” Neely) and Tinashe aptly hit up the arcade to play fight via some friendly competitions.

After garnering critical acclaim for their remix to Tinashe‘s ‘Songs For You’ tune ‘Hopscotch’ (click here to hear it), Los Angeles-based duo THEY. reunite with the stage-blazing diva for their song, ‘Play Fight.’

A nod to throwback R&B, the tune houses cheeky lyrics about makeup sex.

“When we play fight get to grinding all up on me, you don’t play nice,” they harmonize on the chorus. “Next thing, grabbing on your waistline and we turn another evening into a late night.”

Certainly not one for the kiddies, the tune comes as the second single from THEY.’s anticipated upcoming project, ‘The Amanda Tape.’

Tinashe‘s dropped the self-proclaimed ‘braggadocious bad b*tch anthem that we all deserve.’

With little warning, the new tune – ‘Rascal (Superstar)’ – has arrived to streaming outlets and sees its accompanying, Jasper Soloff-directed music video underscore its not-so-subtle points of self-confidence.

“They don’t know the road that we been on / This shit ain’t a joke, I’m a villain / I’m in first place, need a ribbon,” sings Tinashe over the Sage the Gemini-produced track. “They don’t understand that I’m the shit.”

‘All Hands on Deck’ singer Tinashe is calling for just that in the fight for racial equality.

In addition to taking to the streets of Los Angeles for days in a row protesting against police brutality in the wake of the death of George Floyd, the singer-actress has also been running the media gamut to raise awareness about the cause and shine light on the peaceful assemblies across the nation (in light of the riots).

Like many-a-celebrity, Tinashe took to social media on #BlackoutTuesday (June 2) to voice her support for the Black Lives Matter movement and to drum up awareness about racial equality, police brutality, and more.

After the ‘2 On’ hitmaker set her sights on President Donald Trump specifically, however, Errol Webber – a cinematographer-turned-politician – hopped in to defend him.

Slamming the songstress for not being ‘able to chart above #100 on Billboard,’ Webber (currently campaigning for a seat in the U.S. House to represent California’s 37th Congressional District) ignited a fiery Twitter exchange with T that resulted in a virtual brawl with her fans.
