Any act as big as Lady GaGa will always generate polarizing views. However, over the course of her meteoric career, the singer has garnered especially intense scrutiny – thanks to her pronounced flare for Pop experiments (see: ‘Born This Way’).

During an interview with Scott Mills on BBC Radio 1 moments ago, the ‘ARTPOP’ maven addressed the seeming desire of the masses to place her in a musical box. One she refuses to enter.

The performer’s interesting response came during an explanation about how she joined forces with R.Kelly for latest single ‘Do What U Want’. In her answer, the singer veered somewhat off-topic, expressing her frustration at the limits critics and even fans place on her on her material.

After keeping mum on the explosive matter, ‘Mercedes Boy’ entertainer Pebbles has released a statement addressing her portrayal in the TLC biopic, relaying the story of the group’s rise to the top and the role she played as their first manager.

Now, as her legacy finds itself tarred by claims she bullied, cheated and stole from the ladies, she has hit back with a statement published today. A statement, that comes as her daughter comes under fire for ‘threatening’ one of the group’s members.

Since blazing onto the scene, Lady GaGa has fast established herself as quite the shape-shifter – a status she lives up to with the cover for ‘Dope’ – the latest promo single from her upcoming album ‘ARTPOP’.

The eccentric superstar will release the track to iTunes on November 4th, taking to Twitter today to confirm that it’ll serve as the last song she’ll offer up prior to ‘ARTPOP’s November 11th release.
