After months of testimony, the verdict in Katherine Jackson‘s case against AEG Live has been handed down in a Californian court room.

The concert promoter has been found Not Guilty of causing the death of the King of Pop Michael Jackson by way of negligence.

As has become cemented in history, the iconic star died on June 25th 2009, after being administered a fatal dose of Propafol by Dr Conrad Murray.

Though Murray was found Guilty of causing Jackson’s death back in 2011, this case (brought jointly by Katherine and the singer’s three children) decided whether AEG were at fault for hiring Murray and ultimately causing Jackson’s passing.

Britney Spears may be commanding folk to ‘Work B*tch’ with her new single, yet after years of disappointment, fans and critics alike are angling for her to do just that at her upcoming Las Vegas residency.

Beyond the questionable topic of her dancing (or lack-there-of), the Pop force has also been taken to task for incessant lip-synching.

Yet, despite not having sung live since at least 1999, the star’s manager Larry Rudolph asserts that she will be belting legitimately when the two-year-residency (christened ‘Piece of Me’) kicks off in December.

The declaration came during an interview with Billboard, in which Rudolph elaborated on Spears’ vocal coaching (…), upcoming album, and rumours surrounding slow ticket sales.

It appears record buyers see Justin Timberlake‘s vision. The Pop titan’s latest effort ‘The 20/20 Experience (2 of 2)’ is on course to hit #1 on the Billboard 200 next week. A fact which, no doubt, calls for celebration.

Sadly for rapper Nelly, the good fortunes of his ‘Girlfriend’ collaborator doesn’t extend to him. For, his latest LP ‘M.O’ is set to open with numbers that must be seen to be believed.
