The last year has seen Pop diva Christina Aguilera become as renown for her weight as she is for her voice.

Indeed, many a media headline has taken aim at the singer’s “new figure”, with some sects concerned about how it’ll affect her career in today’s image-focal industry.

R&B star Brandy has certainly been a busy girl as of late.

While cooking up her hotly anticipated new album, the singer has returned to her former mainstay – acting. And in a big way.

With a pronounced (and recurring role) on season 5 of BET’s ‘The Game’, That Grape Juice‘s Patrick B caught up with the stunner at the exclusive screening for show’s first episode in Los Angeles last night.

There, the 32 year old dished on her character (‘Chardonnay’), as well her new single and album, when we can expect them, and a whole lot more.

‘The Boy Is Mine’ co-stars Monica and Brandy beam in this collection of personal snapshots uploaded to the ‘Don’t Take It Personal’ singer’s Twitter moments ago.  Sending fans into a frenzy, the two spark rumors that their 1998 mega-duet may be getting a successor soon.

Mo, who joined super producer Rico Love in Miami to record the finishing touches for her ‘New Life’ album (due in February), shared a touching thought with the photo:

“We’ve been blessed beyond measure…14 years later. ##TURNTHELIGHTSON ❤Love”. 

Have long time fans’ cries been heard?  We’ll certainly be keeping our fingers crossed on that one.  The timing, if the collab rings true, couldn’t be any better given that Brandy is preparing new material for 2012 as well! R&B powerhouse Jennifer Hudson has seemingly turned up the heat of her Weight Watchers-sponsored promotions with the forthcoming release of her January 10th due memoir ‘I Got This’.  Sharing titling with her one-time announced third single from her sophomore set ‘I Remember Me’, JHud looks to have forgotten that fans are still watching for her next LP, not her next pants size.

Be that as it may, the soon wed Grammy-winner is readying two forays into film – ‘Three Stooges’ and ‘Winnie’ – both due in 2012.  Until then, fans can view her gracing the cover of the January/February 2012 edition of ‘Weight Watchers’.

‘Bleeding Love’ belter Leona Lewis wasn’t exactly showing much love to chart rivals in a recent interview with ‘Time Out Dubai’.  The 26-year-old, whose most recent ‘Collide‘-lead LP ‘GlassHeart’ was pushed back to a March release, lent her opinion on the current status of the music industry’s vocalists to the worldly magazine, even suggesting reality talent show contestants best their established counterparts.

While many-a-talent show, including ‘American Idol’, ‘The Voice’, and Lewis’ own native ‘X Factor’ have boasted immeasurable talents in their years, is Leona’s assessment far-fetched?

As one of the world’s most celebrated groups to date, there really is no denying the impact Boyz II Men has made on Pop culture since the early 90s.

Kelly Rowland ushers in the New Year with a stunning new shoot for ‘This Is London’ magazine.

The ‘Motivation’ singer struck many a fierce pose, as well as spoke to the publication about her storied-career, family life, returning to the X Factor (if asked) and plans to open a chain of restaurants named ‘Morning Wood’. Yes, you read right. Click here to read the interview.

NBC’s ‘The Voice’ just got a whole lot bigger.

Yes, in what will sure to have the folk  over at American Idol and X Factor feeling all kinds of competitive, today saw NBC announce news that will viewers of the hit show even more of a reason to tune in.

Ne-Yo, Kelly Clarkson, Lionel Richie, Baby Face, Jewel, Alanis Morisette and Robin Thicke have signed on to star in show’s second season.

Last night, pedestrians in the city of New York got the surprise of their lives when they spotted ‘A Star Is Born Actress‘ Beyonce  making her way through the city, accompanied by her mother Tina Knowles and her now infamous baby bump.

Reportedly leaving her own office building, her sighting will be sure to silence those who had suggested that she had given birth to her baby during the Christmas period.

It also arrives after close friend Lady GaGa shared her thoughts on the entertainer’s pregnancy in an interview with ‘The Insider‘.
