Princess Nokia is back…and this time she’s armed with ‘Balenciaga.’

The New Yorker has been determined to deliver high-end visuals for her growing fanbase in 2019 and pushes her own envelope with the video she shot to support the new single.

Why?

To support the record she will release in 2020.

I’ve got a hip-hop and soul record coming out, and it’s incredible. It’s probably my best work I’ve ever made so far, which will only last ‘til the next one after that.

It’s a really well composed, thought-out brilliantly musical project. I go back to hip-hop, acoustic, R’nB, soul, and there’s some Latin music on it. These lyrics are from the pages of my diary. It’s the diary of a young girl going through heartbreak, loss, betrayal, fame, insecurities, doubt, boundaries, self-care, and more than anything, healing. Healing as a young girl at the start of womanhood. Healing and being honest with everything that I’m feeling and experiencing, and bringing it into poetic light and making it very powerful.

I know that it’s going to make a lot of women cry. This is just a little taste of it.

The ambitious singer/rapper Tory Lanez has released his brand new body of work ‘Chixtape 5′ with help from a few of his famous friends.

The set is designed to pay homage to noughties R&B and sees him partner with the likes of Ashanti (its covergirl), T-Pain, Jagged Edge, Chris Brown and Ludacris to deliver what he hopes will be his biggest body of work thus far.

Tamar Braxton is attempting to mop up the controversial comments she made about men who “don’t touch” their women.

For, the R&B belter received ample backlash from corners of the gay community for seemingly weaponising homosexuality.

Indeed, as reported, the ‘Love & War’ wailer took to Instagram “these dudes out here really do be gay. They want D*CK. PeriodT” 

She went on to add: “If he lays with you for 3, 4, 10 days and he don’t touch u, it’s not you. HE WANT A MAN. And that’s on my Momma!”

Beyond infuriating some groups, Braxton cast the cloud of doubt (and speculation) over her own relationship with Nigerian entrepreneur David Adesefo. 

Now, she’s elaborating and implies it was her ex-husband she was referencing…

Khalid may be currently thrilling audiences on his ‘Free Spirit World Tour,’ in support of his sophomore (and first chart-topping) album, ‘Free Spirit,’ but the 21-year-old is still looking to keep audiences engaged with new music.

As we reported here, his latest bid to do so comes courtesy of new single, ‘Up All Night.’  Speaking on the cut, he revealed:

“‘Up’ is a song that I wrote while on tour,” said Khalid. “It’s really special to me and I’m so excited that I am able to share it with my fans so quickly. I’ve been touring the world, and interacting with my fans each night has been really inspiring. I’m working hard on some more new music to share with you guys soon!”

Harry Styles is heating up the singles charts with single ‘Light Up’ and is poised to blaze the album tally too with sophomore set ‘Fine Line’ (due December 13th).

To support both, the former One Direction star has announced a world wide live trek named the ‘Love On Tour 2020.’

Set to kick off in the singer’s home country of the UK next April, expanding to Europe, North America, and then Mexico.

Not neglecting the commercial component of his record, for the U.S. and Canadian shows, each ticket purchased online comes with a CD copy of ‘Fine Line.’

Kehlani bares all on emotional new song ‘You Know Wassup.’

The track, which arrives after footage of boyfriend YG kissing another woman went viral, seems the singer address the matter lyrically.

For, she coos about wanting to be “Mrs Jackson” (the rapper’s real name is Keenon Jackson), but bemoans the “demons” her partner is fighting.

Iggy Azalea‘s efforts to launch a positive promotional campaign for her new single ‘Lola‘ seems to have been derailed by her brewing beef with Cardi B fans.
