If you’re familiar with Foxy Brown, you’ll know her story is rooted far deeper than the lyrics that took her to the top of the Rap game in the 90s.

From being abandoned by her father at four years, the miscarriage she suffered some years back and the unfortunate loss of hearing she was faced to battle, it’s safe to say Brown‘s journey thus far has been anything but easy.

Now listen as she shares the story on ‘The Combat Jack Show’, speaking openly on her feelings towards her former mentor Jay Z and her Rap sister Nicki Minaj.

Rita Ora served as one third of a Brit Pop menage a trois hours ago, stepping out with Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding in London town.

Reportedly dining at Primrose Hills’ Lemonia, the chart topping trio were caught leaving the spot weeks after Rita and Calvin made their first appearance as a couple…after Calvin and Ellie dominated many a headline when they hooked up before Rita rose to notoriety.

K. Michelle is wasting no time building on her ‘Love & Hip-Hop’ notoriety. Taking a brief break from putting the finishing touches to her new album ‘Rebellious Soul’, last night saw the outspoken songstress play to a sell-out crowd at New York’s famed Highline Ballroom.

That Grape Juice was in the house at Robin Thicke‘s exclusive playback in Paris, France this week, where the man himself previewed 6 songs from his upcoming album, ‘Blurred Lines‘. Preceded by its smash of a title track, the LP will march onto  shelves on July 8th. 

Ashanti took her ever welcome but at times overlooked music to the Marie Osmond show today, arriving to perform her new single ‘Never Should Have’.

Marking new territory for the R&B staple, her time on the show stood as her latest effort to push the single- lifted from her forthcoming album ‘Braveheart’.

Two years later than it was supposed to, Ashanti‘s serially delayed ‘Braveheart’ album is apparently set to hit stores on July 30th.

And while the project’s trajectory has taught us to only believe its “release date” once it’s actually sitting on shelves, the singer herself seems to be convinced and has hit the promo trail (again) in support of the set.

The 32-year-old’s latest stop was HOT 97 radio, where she waxed honest on the project, her present-day relationship with former INC comrade Ja Rule, and her on-going role in Lifetime series ‘Army Wives’. One area Ms. Douglas wasn’t too keen to explore was her much-talked about relationship with Nelly. Hosts Ebro and K. Foxx would have none of the media-trained PC, though, and were persistent. Rihanna left little to the imagination in Belgium yesterday, snapped on the way to her scheduled show at the Sportpaleis- days after Beyonce rocked the same venue with the ‘Mrs.Carter Show’.

Sporting a white T-shirt and armed with a Chanel bag, the Pop purveyor was snapped after she became the first artist in chart history to see 11 singles surpass the 3 million US units mark, helped in part by her ballad ‘Stay’ which is now eligible for triple Platinum certification.
