Moments ago, the ladies of The View welcomed R&B siren Ciara onto their show.

The glamazon stopped by to plug new album, ‘Jackie,’ which hit stores worldwide this week.

Naturally, the hosts didn’t shy away from the tough questions and quizzed the 29-year-old on her budding romance with football player Russell Wilson, as well as their recent visit to The White House.

It’s a week of celebration for singer Ciara.

For not only did her new album ‘Jackie’ land in stores, her mother – whose name inspired the project’s title and tour – marked her birthday too.

The gorgeous pair were snapped hand-in-hand in New York City last night, where 29-year-old Ci performed in the morning on the Today Show and later in the evening to a sold-out crowd at the Best Buy Theater.

Sharing the pic with her 6 million Instagram followers, she wrote:

After rocking the stage on the Today Show this morning, the R&B siren moved on to HOT 97 radio to talk about life – both professional and personal.

A large sect of the interview saw hosts Peter Rosenberg and Laura Stylez quiz the 29-year-old on her break-up from rapper Future and her new flame – footballer Russell Wilson.

Ciara‘s new album ‘Jackie’ is finally in stores! To celebrate and support the set, the Grammy winning singer has set sail on her aptly titled ‘Jackie Tour.’

Last night brought with it the first show at Chicago’s House of Blues.

Playing to a sold-out crowd, the 29-year-old served up electrifying performances of hits such as ‘Promise’ and ‘Goodies,’ and delighted with several new songs including ‘Dance Like We’re Making Love,’ ‘I Bet,’ and ‘That’s How I’m Feelin”.

Tonight brings with the official kick-off of Ciara‘s hotly anticipated ‘Jackie Tour.’

Surprisingly, despite stage blazing being the singer’s trademark, the trek – launched in support of her new album ‘Jackie’ – is the first she’s embarked on in over six years.

Rapper Future is not here for news surrounding former fiancee Ciara and her new boo, Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson.

But, as if having to dodge headlines surrounding the twosome isn’t enough, her faithful fanbase – the C-Squad – are forcing him to dodge his own social media handles as the group have trolled his Instagram page with emojis of footballs (reminiscent of Kid Rock vs. Beyonce).

Reciting lyrics to the diva’s hit ‘I Bet’ alongside phrases like “Go Seahawks,” the rapper’s page was so overrun with comments about Ci’s new beau he was forced to take to another handle to clap back.

Ciara stepped out looking like the first lady of fierce last night at the The White House.

The stage blazer, whose new album ‘Jackie’ drops May 4th, was the date of US footballer Russell Wilson at President Obama’s State Dinner for the President of Japan.

Needless to say, the pair’s appearance confirms the widely speculated rumors that they are now an item.

As widely reported, Ci was formerly with rapper Future – a union which produced the singer’s 11 month old son Future Jr.

In the present though, it appears Ms. Harris has new romance in her life. More power to her.

Just days remain until Ciara‘s sixth studio album ‘Jackie’ jogs into stores.

Singles ‘I Bet’ and ‘Dance Like We’re Making Love’ have given fans a small taste of what to expect, however a meatier preview has arrived in the form of snippets of the entire LP.

Due May 4th, the project boasts production from the likes of Polow Da Don, Dr. Luke, and Harmony Samuels and written contributions from Ester Dean, Diane Warren, Rock City, and Cici herself.
